The idea to start a photo booth business came to Josh while he was working as an event DJ. He built his first photo booth from scratch and started renting it out for weekend events, all while working a job for a large company during the week. When his job was moved overseas, Josh took this as a sign it was time to focus on his business full-time.

By 2015, Josh was facing the best problem a business owner can have: He had more business than he could handle, with as many as 10 events happening on any given Saturday. He was also getting a lot of inquiries from people wondering where they could buy photo booths. This gave Josh the idea to start Photo Booth International, giving entrepreneurs a turnkey model they could use to start photo booth businesses of their own.

Josh credits his business growth to a combination of hard work and his marketing expertise.
