In this episode, we talk to Di's sister mental health professional Dayna Slade about how to recognize our own signs, symptoms, and coping skills for Mental Health Awareness Month.
We all get transparent with our personal stories, from stress eating to eye twitches and we break the stigma by talking about our own experiences.
We will unpack:
Daily routines to help you deal with stress, anxiety, and depressions.
The signs of stress including teeth grinding, high blood pressure, eye twitching, and stomach upset.
The signs of depression including lack of motivation, sleep disturbance, decreased patients, and constant crying spells. As well as symptoms of over motivation, no sleep, and overeating.
The signs of anxiety including shortness of breath, racing heart, sweaty palms, hypersensitivity to sound, light, and movement.
Exercises you can do with your five senses to ground yourself right now.
