I'm generally passionate about critical thinking. The reason is that all too often I have found myself operating on autopilot because I assumed things were a given, when really they weren't. I assumed the world was a certain way because I was raised with certain beliefs, and it wasn't until I understood the difference between a belief and a reality, that I began to change my life.
In today's episode, we look at 3 common misconceptions about parenting and how holding on to these misconceptions keeps us stuck in the feeling that we're bad parents.
We're running a FREE LIVE training on May 18th that will tackle the topic of punishment in parenting - this is one of our biggest misconceptions I see in parenting, if you ask me. Join me and let me show you why: www.sagacitylab.com/mcwaitlist

She also shares how blindspots in parenting are mirror images of blindspots in entrepreneurship. Fascinating discussion with this amazing entrepreneur and parent!

Debunking the myth that we have to choose between being career focused or family focused. Understanding that what we really need to do is integrate and the reason we’re so stressed out over achieving work/life balance is because we’ve been sold a lit that there is this one sweet spot that we need to find and it will bring us ultimate happiness.
If you’ve felt frustrated and split by life/work, constantly in a lose-lose scenario where you feel guilty for working too much and not being with your family, or you feel guilty for not working enough and always feeling like you need to catch up because you’ve been spending time with your kids - this is the episode for you.
