Lewis and Rachele talk about the weeks movie news and their old mate Alex's amazing short film Evie. They gush about the new Disney/Marvel TV show WandaVision. Rachele also reviews the Australian small town mystery /thriller The Dry, starring Eric Bana. The team also talk a little about the Perth Fringe Festival!

It is a killer start to this week’s show with a review for A Promising Young Woman, starring the fabulous Carey Mulligan. The team also review Ammonite starring Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan and Only the Animals, a French flick.

It’s the first show for 2021! The team say goodbye to 2020 with reviews for comedy specials Death to 2020 and Yearly Departed.

It’s the last show for 2020! And flying into cinemas is Wonder Woman 1984 which Lewis and Cecilia review. Also on this weeks show is reviews for the new Francis McDormand film Nomadland, the new Pixar film Soul, Castle Rock , Dreambuilders and Jingle Jangle.

As the year draws to an end, the team reflect on 2020 and discuss their favorite tv shows and films of the year.

This week, it is all about the mind with reviews for Words on Bathroom Walls which tells the story of a teenage boy diagnosed with Schizophrenia. The team also look at the doco Oliver Sacks: In his Own Life which profiles the acclaimed neurologist.

It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas with the release of Happiest Season, a Christmas flick starring Kristen Stewart. The team also review the sci-fi/horror Possessor, Monsoon, The Crown and Raphael Revealed.

Film reviews are plenty this week. First is Brazen Hussies, a feature documentary celebrating the bold women of the Women's Liberation Movement Who re-ignited the feminist revolution in Australia. Lewis reviews Never Rarely Sometimes Always, a film that shines a light on prochoice, while Cecilia reviews Ben Wheatley’s adaptation of the famous Daphne De Maurier novel Rebecca.

Rachele and Lewis have a packed show. We have reviews for streaming films Bad Education, The Invisible Man and The Devil all the time. There are also new movies at the cinemas with NZ Comedy Baby Done, The Climb and Liam Neeson action thriller Honest Thief. Lewis also talks about David Tennant and Michael Sheens Quarantine TV Show Staged.

It is sad news this week, with the passing of one of cinemas greats Sean Connery. Lewis and Cecilia reflect on his work. They also discuss the British Film Festival including the film Summerland starring Gemma Arterton before diving into a list of Christmas films that are due to release. They finish the show with a discussion on the new Netflix miniseries The Queens Gambit.
