It's all for the 'Gram! Now, before we get started, you guys need to know that Instagram can and should be a part of your marketing strategy; however, I wouldn't bank on it being your only strategy. What if the powers to be decide to shut down Instagram? Would you still have a business? Could you still get in touch with your clients? With that being said, I have really loved learning more about Instagram strategy this year and putting it into practice.

 

I am diving into my 5 step strategy on how I gained over 5,000 more followers in a year without sacrificing my engagement and my relationships. I may even go into how I structure my ads and where I spend money on the platform to see the best growth in my niche. Did you know that Pinterest is one of the top search engines? Yep! And one of the most effective ways to drive traffic to your site, podcast, or sales page. I sit down with Pinterest guru, Jacquelene Hayes to talk about the basics of Pinterest. I loved getting to chat with her. She works her business full time, has her own podcast, and is a momma, wife, and Christian...so it is safe to say we had a vibe! We walk through how to switch over to a business account, why that matters, and how to set up your boards. She even gives us some tips on how often to pin and scheduling tools that can take the leg work out of the process for you. One of my biggest marketing secrets is to drill down five or more "layers" deep to identify a group of people that are hyper targeted and need my help! "But, Megan… what if we drill down too far and I exclude someone or repel someone from my product or service?" Don't worry sister, we go over that too!
