Laura Blythe is a tribal citizen of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians living in her ancestral homelands of Western North Carolina. She has a passion for learning about her culture and helps educate others through her job as the Program Director for the Cherokee Historical Association.

Through cycling, her goals are to help introduce mountain biking to other EBCI citizens who may not be aware of how the power of two wheels can help reconnect us to our culture: land, language, spirituality, provide mental and physical health benefits, and help overcome generational trauma which plagues Native communities.
