The gift here is Expansion, the shadow is Immaturity, and the sacred potential is the nature of Evolution itself; Superabundance. We live in the illusion and cult of the Individual. The truth is that our individualities are real, but they are only a part of the forces that make them. Genius, intelligence, coherence, creativity are truly “non-local” as consciousness. This week the Sun transits Gate 12: Caution. This Gate brings the gifts of poetry, fine art, pause, discrimination, and purity. When we deepen our love of what is authentic by expanding our heart, we experience art as life, and life as art. Art is ultimately meditation on transformations. It is the purity of the divine essence that threads through our existence ever drawing us to greater intelligence, subtle energies, and higher orders behind what we call life and the world. Because it is in the throat and connects to the emotion center, this gate allows us access to this archetype of Purity when we Pause, Breathe, and Feel. So take time to feel and breathe. Write a poem, draw a sketch, sing a song from your own heart. Feel the beloved inside, and shine it’s love on everything you feel and see.

June 7- 12, Saturday to Thursday this week, the Sun will transit Gate 45: Gathering Together. Listen in for a description of the collective shift from vertical to horizontal organization and the sharing of resources. “From Hierarcy to Heterarchy”. Notice how all institutions built on fear seem to crumble? We are entering a collective Cosmic Communion based on goodwill. This will allow us to dovetail our enterprises instead of compete with exclusion, changing the game from competition driven by fear and insecurity to collaboration based on shared information and resources.

I have six affirmations for connecting to our adventurous spirit this week. Starting Monday and through Saturday we transit Gate 35; Adventure. Laying the foundation, we must hold fast in our new experiences. Then, accept the comings and goings of our muse. While combining our energies with others, not being overly impulsive in our shared enthusiasm. Being altruistic in our sharing of experiences comes naturally because we know the glory of life’s experiences. We know it is our attitude towards life that determines how alive, full and uplifting our experiences are. This is the deeper wisdom of this Gate.

I chat a lot about how we get there: Hungry Hearts can be hungry ghosts. And we must journey into our hearts to make room for the freshness, curiosity, potential, and boundlessness of this moment. We give ourselves the gift of adventure by freeing ourselves of the past; letting go of resentment and judgment. Only love can carry us through.

Monday through Saturday, May 26-31. This week is about Enthusiasm, Skill, and Follow Through (aka sustained enthusiasm). It is about Mastery, Versatility and the magic genius that our enthusiasm can unlock for us. This gate is in the throat chakra so we find it in our performing, expressing, and putting our energy out there. We must express this energy in some way. These meditations will help us presence and bring coherence to the natural wisdom and medicine of this gate, through touchstones like attention, awareness, objectivity, timing, support, reassessing and withdrawal.
