This Lodi California balanced Petite Sirah showed up well when presented. A lovely fruit forward taste with a balance of acidity, tannins and sweet blueberries. Light Oak taste that reminded me of the wooded areas of California. Nice flavored wine selection.

From a fifth-generation winemaking family in southern Australia’s historic Barossa Valley region, Paperbark wines are as loveable as their namesake, an Australian tree with peeling bark and fluffy white flowers. Made from a nicely balanced blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, 2017 Paperbark White Blend is pale straw with green hues in the glass, sharing aromas of citrus, lemon grass and papaya. The fruit continues to the palate, which has a refreshing lemon acidity.

Very bright with a balanced minerality on the palate, this medium-bodied white from Côtes de Gascogne, France has ripe fruity notes of grapefruit, citrus, peach, and lemon. Behind the fruit and minerality there’s a well-placed note of cilantro and a touch of golden raisin. After a year or two of aging, this wine will get even better.

Strawberry on the nose, nice light purplish red color. First impressions are slightly sweet, notes of vanilla and cherry. Low acidity, very smooth mouthfeel.

Yeast, lemon balm and sage notes mingle on the nose. The palate adds saltiness and ample green apple and citrus flavors. The body is slender, its slight spritz further accentuating the fruit freshness. A refreshing summer wine with real verve
