Anita DeFrantz is one of the most influential women in sports over the past 50 years. She captained the U.S. women’s rowing team that won bronze in the 1976 Olympics, served as the first female vice president for the International Olympic Committee, and was the president of the LA84 Foundation, which enriched the Los Angeles community after it hosted the 1984 Games.
