On July 31, 2017 a hiker named Melvin Heaps went for a hike off of the majestic mirror lake highway in the high uintas. He went hiking in the Crystal Lake area, but Melvin did not return home like planned. His car was located in the parking lot at the trailhead. Despite numerous and vast searches, Melvin has not been located. 

He was last known wearing a long sleeve red/rust with beige stripes (size 15.5-16/32 possibly Van Heusen brand); blue trousers (size 38/30 zippered fly possibly Faded Glory or Wrangler brand); elastic, clip on suspenders; LDS one-piece undergarments. He also was wearing brown hiking boots Size 9.5-10; thick multi-colored socks and an unknown brand analog watch with a leather band. Melvin wore gunmetal gray wire-framed prescription eyeglasses with an auto tint with clip-on flip up sunglasses and white handkerchief. He had a hearing aid in his right ear, brown leather wallet and contents, chapstick, and a toyota key and fob.

 A boy scouts camping trip turns into a nightmare when one of the scouts, Garrett Bardsley, vanishes into thin air. Numerous searches started immediately but Garrett has never been seen again. Did Garrett get lost or is there something more sinister at play? 

Garrett was last seen on August 20, 2004 in the Cuberant Lake area in the high Uinta Mountains of Utah. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, red sweat pants, t-shirt, and Converse shoes size 7 to 8. He has straight shoulder length hair and a gap between his front teeth. If you have any information on the location of Garrett contact the Summit County Sheriff’s Office at (435) 615-3600.

May 20, 1946 was the last time anyone saw Frances Sessions. While hiking with her sons and nephew, there was a slide of loose shale and they slid off of a cliff. One of her sons did not survive the hiking accident. Frances disappeared and has not been seen since. Frances was described as “Probably overcome with grief.”  Ogden Police Investigators pursued numerous leads across the United States, but Frances has never been located and remains a missing person.  

Officers were given a description of Frances and the clothing she was last seen wearing, 5’3, 97lbs, wearing dark gray slacks, blue blouse, brown shoes, fair complexion. Officers were told Frances was still wearing her clothes from the accident.

Sunday, May 25, 2003 was the last time 19 month old Acacia Bishop was seen. Acacia was abducted by her grandmother in Salt Lake City, Utah. Acacia was last seen together in Idaho Falls, Idaho on May 26, 2003 near the Snake River. Authorities believe Acacia drowned in the Snake River; they have classified her case as a homicide. They do not feel that Acacia accidentally fell into the river.  Nevertheless, her parents are convinced she is still alive. Foul play is suspected in her case due to the circumstances involved. Acacia is still missing and would be 22 years old today. What happened to Acacia? Her family is still searching for her, these 21 years later.

Acacia was last seen wearing a pink sundress with white sunflowers. Both of her ears are pierced and she has a tennis ball-sized birthmark on her lower left abdomen.

David Stack was 18 years old in 1976 and found himself hitchhiking from his home in Broomfield, Colorado to California to visit his sibling. David made it as far as Wendover, Utah on his travels but was found murdered on June 9, 1976. He had been shot twice in the head. At the time, David was unable to be identified and remained a John Doe (unidentified) for 39 years. DNA testing in 2015 gave him his name back, but his case remains unsolved. David’s family finally knows what happened to him after 40 years, but they don’t know who killed their brother. David deserves justice and his family needs to know why their brother was brutally slain.

June 6, 2022 was the last time 29 year old Casey Bokslag was seen. He was seen on a camera at a Wells Fargo ATM in Salt Lake City, Utah. He did not show up for work for two days and it alerted his boss and family that something was wrong. His car was found days later on a remote road at the Castle Rock exit of I80 in Summit County, Utah. Despite searches and numerous efforts to locate Casey, he is still missing. His family is still searching for him and they will not give up until they find him.

Darrel Nichols was just 19 years old when he went missing from Park City, Utah. It is believed that Darrel went into the hills near Park City with friends. A redditor claiming to be Darrel's cousin states it was "family involved" and "cops had what they believed happened, but everyone one has died and gone," but this is not verified. Did Darrel's family have something to do with his disappearance or was Darrel last with friends? The exact date of his disappearance is unknown and it has been 51 years since Darrel was seen. His relatives are still searching for answers as to what happened to him in April 1973.

Jensen is a Utah-based private investigator who helped found the Cold Case Coalition, a missing person nonprofit that helps Utah cases and beyond. This summer he will be tackling the searches for the remains of four women who were murdered at the hands of Ted Bundy in Utah back when Bundy was active in the state. This summer marks 50 years since Ted Bundy’s first known victim. Kiplyn was a bright 15 year old student at Spanish Fork Highschool in 1995. She was last seen at school but never returned home. Kiplyn was reported missing that day. After months passed without her return or any clues as to her whereabouts, police began to suspect foul play in her disappearance. After her disappearance there were various rumors that her body was buried either in a nearby canyon, a train tunnel, under a building, and various other locations, but her remains have never been located. Where is Kiplyn? 

Kiplyn was last seen May 2, 1995. She has naturally curly red hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion with a few freckles. She is very self conscious about her appearance. She was wearing dark denim shorts, white crew neck top and a light blue denim vest with beige stripes. She had 2 silver rings, one shaped like a flower and the other was shaped like a shield with the letters “CTR” in it.

Olsen refuses to tell Authorities where Kiplyn’s body is located. Kiplyn remains missing.
