Der Konzeptkünstler und Collagist DANIEL HÖRL beschäftigt sich in seinen Arbeiten mit Erinnerung, Identität und den Spuren persönlicher wie kollektiver Erfahrungen. Vom 2. bis zum 31. Mai 2026 konnte man seine Werke bei der Ausstellung „Joy Was The Hardest Piece“ im Kunstverein Familie Montez bewundern. Am 30. The Nepalese artist MRIGAJA BAJRACHARYA, better known as MRIGAJAB, creates fascinating illustrations, drawings, comics, and webtoons in vibrant colors. In the motifs she often features dystopian elements, cyborgs, metamorphic creatures, and pop punk. Her works also frequently convey socially critical messages and rebellious creativity. Juni 2026 läuft die Ausstellung „Zwischen Welten“ beim Frankfurter Künstlerclub im Nebbienschen Gartenhaus, bei der die Künstlerin Angela Ehrlich faszinierende Holzschnitte präsentiert. Am 23. The creative artist JAMES KHATI takes an interdisciplinary approach to various fields, mixing them in unexpected ways and breaking down boundaries and structures through innovative ideas. He detests pigeonholing; instead, it drives him to constantly explore new paths that have never been considered before, to try out new combinations, and to experiment. This results in magnificent works, whether streetart, design, sculptures, installations, music, performance, or film. For example, at the Purple Haze Rock Bar in Kathmandu, he created a piece in memory of Jimi Hendrix using 10.523 ping-pong balls, which is exactly the number of days the musician lived. Am 9. Mai hatten wir wieder eine sagenhafte Sendung: Uns besuchte der Soundpoet, Autor, Audiokünstler, Moderator, Kulturaktivist und Dozent DIRK HUELSTRUNK im Studio! Wir haben uns über Poetry Slams und Spoken Word Events unterhalten, über die Lesereihe Schnittstellen, das Kulturnetz, seine Bücher oder Veranstaltungen zur Buchmesse, aber auch über vergangene Projekte wie den slamffm, den Wortsalon Possible Poetry, seine Zeit damals bei Knallfabet auf Radio X oder das erste Kunstradio in Frankfurt von 1988 am Portikus. Aktuell ist er als Poet Resident im Prager Kafka Haus, dazu fand am 12. Mai ein Poesiedialog mit Jaromír Typlt aus Tschechien in der Romanfabrik statt.

TARA HATAMI from Teheran began her creative journey in 2004, studying drawing for four years under Professor Farhad Gavzan. During that time, she explored a wide range of styles and techniques, building a strong foundation in art. Between 2008 and 2013, she focused closely on traditional media, especially colored pencil, developing both her technical skill and a disciplined approach to her practice. She later moved into digital art, working with character illustration and graphic design. Since 2015, Tara has been developing her own brand, BUDDHA CAT, creating digital illustrations and designs across different products and platforms. For her, art has always been a quiet and ongoing journey of learning and exploration. Her inspirations are rooted in nature, femininity, mythology, and traditional symbols. This year she was also part of the BHARATPUR STREETART FESTIVAL in Nepal and painted a great mural.
