Valeri Nichushkin is back with the Colorado Avalanche, at least at practice for now. Head coach Jared Bednar did state that he likely will not play this week, but also did not give an exact date or game he could potentially return. Regardless, just having him back at practice is what everyone was happy to see.

It would have been perfect if Nuke could have returned Tuesday night to square off against the team that didn't want him in the Dallas Stars. The Avalanche will have to once again bring the A-Game against the division leaders, who will be playing the 2nd game of a back to back.
