Jonah stood before King Nebuchadnezzar and preached an eight word sermon; "Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown." That's all it took for the people of Nineveh to repent and believe. The king asked Jonah, who can tell what God could do if the people turn away from their wicked ways.

What could God do in Knoxville if we all proclaim Jesus as Savior, change our priorities and focus, and submit themselves to prayer? God used Jonah's eight word sermon to change a nation. Just imagine what God could do in our city, state, and even our country if Christians put our differences aside and come together for His Kingdom!?

Discipleship is a word that we hear a lot about but maybe we don't fully understand. Disciple means a follower. We take that to mean one who follows Christ in a spiritual way. But there is a physical meaning behind that word too. There are some criteria associated with being a true disciple.

Have you ever taken a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride, or flown in a plane, or taken a cruise? Undoubtedly, you've been the passenger in a car at times, maybe even taken a taxi or Uber or Lyft. But, have you ever stopped to think about who's leading you?

This morning Pastor Jared took us back to the days of our youth when we were perhaps a passenger in a little red wagon. Did you ever stop to think about who was leading that wagon around?

Now, let's take a look at our life now. Who's pulling your wagon today? It's easy to say that it's Jesus, but when you look closer, maybe there are areas of your life where you're allowing the wrong people, or the wrong types of people, to lead in certain areas of your life.
