Have you ever considered a vine, how that single stalk splits out into its branches, delivering its nourishment outward, feeding and bearing it's fruit? This morning we examine one of the seven I Am statements of the Bible in which Jesus compared Himself to the vine. "I am the vine" He said.

Are you attached to the vine this morning? Are you leaning nourishment from Him, and passing it on to others? Are you producing fruit and showing increase?

On Wednesday nights we have been taking a look at the different widows of the Bible. But this past week, Pastor Jared felt lead to delay that message to Sunday.

In this third installment of this series, we take a look at the widow of Nain, a woman of sorrow, but one who was surprisingly surrounded by other mourners. In this story we see a parallel between her, and Jesus.

As Jesus walked through the streets the people crowded around Him tightly. They had already heard about this man called Jesus and the many miracles He was able to perform. No doubt many of them had needs of their own and likely cried out to Him as He passed in hopes that He would have a miracle for them too.

The truth is that we all stand before Jesus with needs. For some, it is a physical need. For others, financial, or emotional. But each and every one of us stand before Him with a spiritual need. Some have already had that need addressed by accepting the gift of salvation. But that's just the beginning; we still have spiritual needs.

This morning we were blessed to have Bro. Jeremy Scott, a missionary from Grenada, with us for our service. In a sermon titled Why Jairus Wanted Jesus we see that one man came to Him wanting His hands, while another woman wanted only the hem of His garment.

Why do you want Jesus today?

Sunday Evening, July 7th, 2019 - There is a Lad Here - Bro. Michael Lambert, Missionary to Granada

Tonight we were honored to have Bro. Michael Lambert, Missionary to Granada, with us for our services. He preached on a topic that you have likely heard about before; a boy with five loaves of bread and two small fish.

There was a lad there that day that Jesus was able to use. The Master positioned that boy in exactly the right place, with exactly the right tool, and was able to use what little he had to do a mighty work. In fact, Jesus used what that boy had for even far more than what they needed. They needed food for 5,000 men (plus their families). But Jesus supplied even more than that.

There's a lad in all of us. Are you willing to give Jesus what little you have and see what He can do with it?
