Think back to the last time you lost something important to you. Maybe it was your phone, your wallet or purse, or even your wedding ring. Maybe just the thought of it makes your heart race even now. You were probably frantic, searching all over the place until you (hopefully) found it. Once it's found you rejoice, maybe even cry with joy.
Now think back to the last time you lost a penny, or some pocket lint, or the chewed gum your child gave you. You probably can't remember those times can you? Did you search for it? Did you even care? Probably not, because those things hold no value to you.
