Tonight we look ahead at another event in our series of Things to Come to examine the Prophetic War.

Do you realize that this is a war that will be waged in Heaven? It sounds odd to think about that, but when you consider that Lucifer (Satan) once tried to overtake the throne of God once already, it doesn't seem that far-fetched.

Sunday Morning, May 5th, 2019 - Why People Stop Following - Pastor Jared Shumate

Have you ever thought about the people who turned away from Jesus and stopped following after Him? Have you ever wondered what it was that made them decide to do that? Even after all they had seen Him do, they still made a decision to stop following after Him.

People still do that today. For one reason or another, people sometimes just stop following after Him. You can probably think of at least one person who was totally on fire for God at one point in their life, and then for whatever reason turned away from Him.

Why? What are the reasons behind those decisions? Why do people stop following Him? There can be a lot of specific reasons, but most them them fall into a handful of categories. This morning Pastor Jared showed us just a few of them.

Tonight we shift our focus of the Things to Come to the Powers of the Tribulation. It's not often that we focus on the "bad guys" of the Bible, but that's exactly what we did. Tonight we discussed the Antichrist, the false prophet, and the especially the dragon, otherwise known as Satan, or Lucifer.

Lucifer is an incredibly powerful force, and that should frighten us all. He was created in perfection, placed an position of authority, and more powerful than most of the other angels. He has great wisdom, beauty, and proficient in music. The Bible says he roams even now, seeking his targets to devour.

Sunday Morning, April 28th, 2019 - No Need to Doubt Him - Pastor Jared Shumate

Have you ever stopped to think about all the things God can do? We often think, "God can do anything." But, that's not entirely true. Now you're thinking, "now you wait just a minute..." but let me say it again; there are some things that God cannot do.

For example, God cannot realize something, for He is already all-knowing. He cannot tell a lie, or commit any sin for that matter. He cannot send a truly saved soul to Hell.

You see, while there are some things that He cannot do, there are so many more things that He can do. And because of that there is no need to ever doubt Him.

This morning Pastor Jared showed us just a few things that God is able to do. And they are things that should give you comfort and joy! We are eternally secured in the hand of God and no one can ever snatch us from Him. He knows every broken piece of your life! And He can restore our fellowship with Him!

Are you doubting God today? There is no need to doubt Him...
