Sunday Evening, April 21st, 2019 - The Trumpets of Tribulation - Pastor Jared Shumate

Tonight Pastor Jared continued his study of the Things to Come in Revelation by taking a look at the trumpets that we read of. Make no mistake, this is a dangerous and worrisome time for those remaining on the Earth. Even the angels themselves say "Woe! Woe! Woe!" as they ache for mankind during these times.

But, take comfort dear Christian! Those who have accepted the gift of salvation will not have to endure these hardships. Remember that these things are meant as judgement for the unsaved.

Do you know Christ as your Savior tonight? What better way to celebrate Easter than to accept the gift of salvation and repent of your sins!? Can you admit that you are a sinner? Do you believe that Christ died for your sins and arose again on the third day? Confess it to the Lord and accept Him today!

Sunday Morning, April 21st, 2019 - Responding to an Empty Tomb - Pastor Jared Shumate

This morning we rejoice and celebrate the fact that one morning, nothing was found. The women approached the tomb, expecting to find the body of Jesus. Instead, they found nothing; emptiness. Then, they remembered! He said he would raise again! He promised He would do this!

As we reflect on the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, what is your response? It's an event that demands one. Do you doubt, like Thomas? Are you delighted in your own salvation? Do you remember that you are delivered?

Rejoice! For He is ALIVE!

Uriah was one of David's "Might Men." He was a faithful man to many things; his wife, his King, his commander, and most importantly, to God. But he ended up in a place of danger, because of another man's sin.

Does faithfulness matter? You better believe it. Uriah died because of another man's unfaithfulness. Are you being faithful to the things of God today?

Sunday Morning, April 14th, 2019 - A Hopeless Case - Evangelist Brian McBride

When we look on the cross at Calvary we usually focus on our Lord and Savior as Christ died for our sins. but this morning we are shifting our focus to one of the thieves who hanged beside Jesus.

If you had walked by those crosses on that day you likely would have thought about what a hopeless situation that was. Three men hanging there, dying, only two of them guilty of anything. And maybe those two thieves thought they were in a hopeless situation as well.

One of them called out to the Lord to be remembered in His Kingdom. But he got so much more than he asked for! Jesus answered him with abundance that day! Not only was he remembered, but Jesus told him that he would be WITH HIM in glory!

Thank God that He is still answering salvation prayers the same way today! When we cry out in need of a Savior not only are we heard but we are given so much more than we ever asked for or ever deserved!

Sunday Evening, April 7th, 2019 - Things to Come, Pt 4 - The Wars of the Tribulation - Pastor Jared Shumate

Tonight we jumped ahead a bit in our study of things to come and looked at the Wars of Tribulation. We learned that in the beginning of the Tribulation there will be a conventional war, a kind that we are familiar with. A war that comes after the peace the Antichrist has been broken, a time of extreme famine, widespread disease, and many, many deaths.

It sounds like a scary time, and it truly is. But those who have accepted the gift of Salvation and accepted Jesus as Lord, they will be spared of these things. As we have discussed in previous parts of this series, the Tribulation is not meant for the saved.

Maybe you're already saved and you can take comfort in knowing that you will not have to face these things to come. But perhaps you're not, or maybe you're just unsure. Why not nail it down today, right now?
