Sunday Morning, April 7th, 2019 - What Does Jesus Have For Me? - Pastor Jared Shumate

The book of John tells us of a woman who came to a well looking for something to fulfill her. She was just looking for water to quench her thirst. But that woman is a picture of the world today; looking day after day for something of substance to satisfy and emptiness. She pointed out that Jesus had nothing with which to draw water from the well. Perhaps in her mind she thought "what do you have for me?"

We studied about the prophecies of Daniel and our minds were blow when Pastor broke down the 70 weeks of Daniel to tie the events of Nehemiah to the crucifixion of Jesus down to the month and the year!

Imagine a mowing a large, several acre yard with a push mower. It's entirely possible to mow that size yard with a push mower, but it would be nice to have something bigger, perhaps commercial, maybe even a zero turn. Sometimes you just need something with more power to get the job done. But, ultimately, you have to use the tools you have at hand, or present and available.

But what happens when the Lord is at hand? We have something on hand, readily available to us, and with so much more power; the Lord God. When He is at hand there is stability, opportunity, and security.

Tonight we continue our series on the book of Revelation and the signs of the times with an in-depth look at the Rapture.

The book of Revelation is the only book of the Bible consisting entirely of things to come in the future. As such, there's a lot of interpretation among preachers and Biblical scholars. But, once you dig into it and study out some of the details, a lot of it is actually much clearer than it appears at first glance. And the Rapture is one of those things that becomes more evident as it is studied.

Tonight Pastor Jared took us through this event to take a look at the timing and those who if affects.

Sunday, March 24th, 2019 - Quickened by Christ - Pastor Jared Shumate

Well, we had church at Valley View this morning! God showed up in a mighty way today and we spent time with our church family praising His Name and sharing testimonies of what God has done in our lives. We shed tears and hit our knees on the altar in prayers of thanksgiving, pouring out our hearts to Him.

Through every word of testimony given there was one unifying thread; the name of Jesus. Lives changed, souls saved, all by the name of Jesus. Everyone who shared a word today had been made alive by Him.

Following a morning of testimonies, Pastor Jared showed us how we are Quickened by Christ!
