GEORGE WAYNE
Contributing Editor to Vanity Fair, George Wayne is one of pop culture and celebrity journalism's most unique voices. Born and raised in Jamaica, Wayne attended the Henry W. Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia and moved to New York in 1984, where he soon established himself as a self-invented chronicler of the glitterati. His columns, interviews and profiles have an international following.
In 1986 he created and published R.O.M.E., an avant garde style journal that was dubbed by ELLE magazine as Scathingly witty ... He also collaborated on the book, Male Supermodels: The Men of Boss, and appeared in fashion print advertising campaigns for Michael Kors and in television commercials for the Calvin Klein fragrance, CKOne.
George Wayne is currently writing a book which we will talk about on today's show
