When speaking about poppies and celebrating Remembrance Day in Canada, NHL commentator Don Cherry said "you people" you come here and enjoy our milk and honey don't buy the poppies. His use of the words "you people" towards immigrants resulted in some citizens being upset and ultimately it lead to his firing. Should it have though? Is what he said that insensitive? Students at Northwestern University protest over their local newspaper's coverage of when former Attorney General Jeff Sessions visited the campus. They printed a photo of students protesting the Sessions event and students said it brought back traumatic feelings. The school's newspaper sent a reporter and photographer to coverage both Sessions' speaking event as well as the student's protest that was going on. What was so traumatic about Sessions visiting the school and you protesting? What is happening to journalism?
