They are saying the decision is not final yet, but are looking into options. Our guest today comes with a warning about the dictatorial powers that go along with declaring this an -emergency.-

Dr. Tara Sander Lee is the Senior Fellow and Director of Life Sciences at the Charlotte Lozier Institute, an organization dedicated to policies and practices to protect the sanctity of human life. As a result, the President is trying to use executive orders or rule making from his cabinet departments in an effort to force hospitals and doctors to violate the Hippocratic Oath and perform this gruesome procedure which takes the life of an innocent baby. Protests have taken place in cities across the country. Even in small town America, 2 or 3 will gather on a downtown street corner bearing signs which read -my body, my choice.-

So we are behind where we need to be to avoid the worst consequences of the climate crisis.- He points to the summer heatwaves and wildfires.--Others in the Biden Administration are talking about us being in an energy transition. A climate alarmism group is planning to shut down city streets in Washington DC in an effort to put pressure upon Joe Biden to declare a climate emergency. While the Biden Administration has taken certain steps, it has not declared a climate emergency. However the President indicated, -Climate change is literally an existential threat to our nation and to the world.-

Last week 47 Republican House members abandoned their party platform, traditional values, and the very essence of marriage as ordained by God to join forces with liberal Democrats in an effort to destroy the Defense of Marriage Act which was passed with a large bipartisan majority and signed into law by former President Bill Clinton.--It appeared that's where the act would stop until now as steam is picking up in the U.S. Senate. Here's the line-up of stories from the early portion of this week's program-----Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin says he will support the House Gay marriage bill.----On the ballot for the Kansas primary on August 2nd is a state constitutional amendment that may determine once and for all whether citizens in Kansas believe that abortion is a right. ----Planned Parenthood challenged Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich's motion to enact a near total ban on abortion.----Texas, led by Attorney General Ken Paxton, has sued the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services over its attempt to transform every emergency room in the nation into a walk-in abortion clinic.----Some radical leftists and progressive members of Congress were arrested outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday afternoon for protesting the recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. ----A pro-life Christian who was fired from Southwest Airlines for expressing her views won 5.1 million dollars in a lawsuit against her former employer and workers union.----House Democrats blocked a resolution that condemns the violence that has targeted dozens of pro-life pregnancy centers and churches since May. ----Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer just confirmed that she is pro-abortion and not pro-choice. She recently signed an executive order promoting abortion, but on Wednesday she vetoed 21.4 million in funding for pregnancy centers that help women find abortion alternatives and adoption programs. ----U.S. Senators Mike Rounds, Joni Ernst and 8 of their senate colleagues introduced a bill to designate June as the Month of Life.

Jim began with news that the White House announced this morning that President Biden checked positive for COVID-19. He's experiencing mild symptoms and is now taking Paxlovid. Jim encouraged listeners to pray for him.--Just after 5pm this past Monday, VCY America received an alert from the Family Research Council indicating that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was scheduling a vote on legislation to codify so-called same-sex marriage the following day.--In an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote in both houses of Congress, the Defense of Marriage Act was approved in 1996 and signed into law by then President Bill Clinton. But now, because of the SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, there's concern from the -left- that other measures they embrace might be overturned.--Pelosi acted very quickly to bring about this vote in the House. Within about 24 hours of its introduction, they passed it -known as HR8404- by a vote of 267-157. In the Senate, the legislation is known as S.4556.--HR8404 says, -It is to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act and ensure respect for state regulation of marriage and for other purposes.- Actually, it appears to disrespect the state regulation of marriage. After all, if a state has a defense of marriage act in place, this law would negate that, saying that if any state allows for the marriage of two individuals, they must accept so-called same-sex marriage.--This program is highlighted by comments from a column by Todd Starnes, one from the Washington Stand, related headlines from Lifesite News, FRC Action and more, including Jim's listing of the 47 Republicans that joined Democrats to thumb their noses at the biblical definition of marriage.

President Biden returned this past weekend from his Middle East trip where he visited Israel and Saudi Arabia. He was criticized for things like using -fist bumps- rather than shaking hands or giving out hugs like he did during his recent NATO summit visit. He was also criticized for being humiliated by not receiving cooperation on energy issues with Saudi Arabia.--Returning to Crosstalk to bring his perspective on these and other related Middle East news topics was David Rubin. David is former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, is the author of seven books including, Confronting Radicals- What America Can Learn from Israel. He's the founder and president of Shiloh Israel Children's Fund, established after he and his then three-year-old son were wounded in a terror attack.

The declaration of health emergencies from governments around the world in response to COVID have given us a picture of the massive control measures that governments are willing to take to put them in control. Some would say, it's as if it were planned. --Even now there are those pushing our president to declare a health emergency over reproductive care -abortion- or even global climate change. Still others are watching as warnings come out about new COVID variants that may require additional actions by government.--Does all of this signal a move toward world government- After all, the Vatican has pushed for what's known as The Great Rest while the U.N. has pushed for veto power over the U.S. Supreme Court.--In light of all this, Jim was reminded of the movie that was released 50 years ago. It's called, A Thief in the Night. This movie depicted a scenario of Bible-based, end-time events.--Joining Jim to review this classic Christian film and it's even greater relevance today was Rich Christiano. Rich is a film writer, director - producer. In 2002, he along with his brother Dave formed Five - Two pictures. Rich is a writer, director and producer of multiple films such as Time Changer, Unidentified, The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry, A Matter of Faith and Play the Flute.--Rich began by reviewing some historical background information on A Thief in the Night and his relationship to the late Russel Doughten, the executive producer. From there the discussion moved to audio clips, the first being the attention-grabbing opening of the film. Through such clips, listeners get a chance to ponder whether or not what's taking place today signals a soon coming rapture.

During a recent search on the Internet, Jim found the following topics that caught his attention. One was titled- 10 Reasons Why Islam is the True Religion. Another was called, 7 Proofs to Know Islam is the Truth and another one had the title, Evidence Islam is Truth- 159 Articles.--So there's all this information alleging that Islam is the truth. However, according to Usama Dakdok, Islam is anything but truth. In fact, he believes Islam has distorted the truth. --Usama Dakdok is the founder of the Straight Way of Grace Ministry. He's the speaker on the daily radio broadcast, Revealing the Truth About Islam. He speaks fluent Arabic and has translated the Qur'an into English. He is the author of Exposing the Truth about the Qur'an and Exposing the Truth About Jihad.--Speaking concerning deception, Usama began by noting that when you talk about -miracles- in Islam, Allah is very clear in the Qur'an that he didn't send to Mohammed any miracles. However, Western Muslims, particularly in about the past 20 years, are creating miracles for Mohammed from everywhere and he noted that if people really knew the truth behind it, they'd not only leave Islam, they'd laugh at it.--Jim then had Usama talk about an illustration from this month. It's the festival of sacrifice known as Eid al-Adha. The Muslim justification for this festival is derived from chapter 37 in the Qur'an. Jim provided audio of the exchange. ----Marv Munyon appeared via phone and commented on a drag queen event coming to Riverside Park in Watertown, Wisconsin. The permit is seeking to have the event on July 30th.----After becoming the 14th city in Wisconsin to ban so-called conversion therapy, LaCrosse has put that ban on -pause- while city officials are working to review the language after concerns that it was vulnerable to legal action.----The Biden administration spent nearly 1.5 million dollars to produce a transgender programming curriculum for inmates held in the nation's 122 federal prisons.----The U.S. Army training documents now say that women must shower with men and vice-versa in the name of transgender rights.----Germany has proposed a draft law -self determination act- that would allow people to change their gender on paper once per year.----The Los Angeles Unified School District designs a Queer All School Year calendar.----Disney stock plummets 45- amid the box office failure of -Lightyear- movie. ----A Catholic Church in Kentucky hosted an apology prayer service on behalf of the LGBTQ- community.----NBC News has reported that of the 6,294 confirmed Monkeypox cases, the vast majority are happening among homosexual and bisexual men.
