Jim began this program by reporting that the U.S. House of Representatives will likely be voting on two abortion bills tomorrow. The Women's Health Protection Act -HR-8296- would allow abortion on demand in every state, allow an abortion at any point when an abortionist deems it appropriate and will void state laws against abortion. The Ensuring Access to Abortion Act -HR-8297- would provide protection, not for the unborn, but to abortionists as well as to anyone assisting in an abortion even if they're transporting a woman across state lines.--Day after day Crosstalk deals with issues that are part of the spiritual battles that all Christians are dealing with. Russia's war against Ukraine is now in its 5th month. In other words, the U.N. general assembly would become a sovereign parliament.--Alex noted that they move toward this goal in incremental steps. In the European Union he documented this process as it happened. A few years ago, the EU, through a very illegitimate treaty, was able to grant itself the power to veto the policies and budgets of nations.

Beginning with Mother's Day weekend, pro life organizations and churches have come under attack by those engaged in extreme violence simply because there are states that are forbidding the killing of children in the womb. Perhaps even more amazing is the violence taking place in states that still allow such killing of children. Over 70 such attacks have taken place. --Threats and intimidation are also taking place against justices on the Supreme Court. Such tactics are being applauded by the White House with leftist politicians fanning the flames.--Where's the Department of Justice in all of this- Where are district attorneys and AG's in such states- Why aren't people being held accountable- It all points to a double-standard that leaves many people frustrated. --Joining Jim to bring his perspective was Pastor Jim Harden. The Biden administration was warned that if immigration measures put in place by the Trump administration were lifted, bad things would happen, and they are. For example, you may recall the recent news that over 50 illegal immigrants were found dead in an abandoned trailer in Southwest San Antonio. --The Daily Signal has reported that Sheriff Roy Boyd of Goliad County, Texas, joined with other law enforcement officials to raise alarm concerning the border crisis. Local officials are calling it an invasion. - -Returning to Crosstalk for an update on this crisis was Mark Krikorian. Mark is a nationally recognized expert on immigration issues serving as the executive director of Center for Immigration Studies. They are an independent, non-partisan research organization examining and critiquing the impact of immigration on the United States. He's testified numerous times before congress and has published articles in many outlets.--Mark came right out and unhesitatingly said that our borders are being overrun. The Biden administration advertised during the campaign, and followed through once they got in, that they'd undo everything Trump did regarding immigration. They removed almost everything including -Remain in Mexico-. Under this policy, if you claimed asylum, the government could make you remain in Mexico until the date of your hearing.--So in the end, Mark describes the U.S. as having an -open-ish- border. We're luring people to come here but we are making it hard for some of them so there is some smuggling going on. The result is that you end up with tragedies like we saw in San Antonio.

Wade.----A Texas based insurance company is offering pay for birth and adoption costs.----Christ for All Nations is offering their employees reimbursement for up to -5,000 to offset the costs of adopting a child. ----Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated at a political rally in Japan.--Dalton presented much more that can be reviewed, including calls from listeners.

This shows once again how we're living in a time of lawlessness when, as the Bible describes it, men will do that which is right in their own eyes.--Yesterday most Americans were celebrating Independence Day and the freedoms granted by God that are communicated through our founding documents. However, for a marginal group of liberals, this day was different as they used their freedom to denounce the holiday. They used it to protest the overturning of Roe v. Wade and claim that women are no longer free. Some extremists actually advocated blowing up the U.S. while others suggested burning it down.--To discuss where we're at now that the -dust is settling- after the Supreme Court's decision, Crosstalk welcomed Brad Mattes. Wade, large companies such as Bank of America, BlackRock, Disney, Goldman-Sachs, H-M, Macy's, Nike, Nordstrom and more- all pledged to pay thousands of dollars for their female employees to kill their children in the womb.----The office of Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James demanded in a letter that Google exclude crisis pregnancy centers from search results about abortion.----84 lawless prosecutors from 29 states signed a joint statement vowing to disregard the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade. ----West Virginia is now abortion free after the last abortion business in that state has stopped killing babies.

In the early 1900's, many things were delivered in wooden crates, including soap. At various times it wasn't unusual for someone to stand on one of these crates on a busy street and make an impromptu speech to those willing to gather around.--This Crosstalk was one of those periodic broadcasts where we give listeners a -soapbox- platform to address an issue of concern they feel others should take note of.--However, before letting listeners sound off, Jim shared some headlines---This morning the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the Clean Air Act doesn't give the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency widespread power to regulate carbon dioxide emissions that a popular theory says contributes to global warming.-The Supreme Court gave President Biden the -green light- to end the -Remain in Mexico- immigration policy that originated under the Trump administration. That vote was 5-4.-Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer has officially retired. Sworn in today was Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the first black woman on the court.-President Biden called for the removal of the Senate filibuster in order to codify Roe v. Wade.

Wade, Dr. Vliet exposed listeners to some interesting statistics concerning COVID shots. She described a drop of 8-11- in the range of live births in the first quarter of 2022 in the UK, Germany, Norway and several U.S. states. This means the COVID shots are resulting in the prevention of pregnancy causing infertility.--Then there's the death rate for millennials -those ages 18-44-. There were 61,000 deaths in 9 months of 2021 after the shots came out. That's compared to 58,000 deaths in the 10 years of the Vietnam War in the same age group.--Jim also noted some interesting statistics from Dr. Joseph Mercola. In looking at data from the International Olympic Committee, he showed that there were 1,101 sudden deaths in athletes under the age of 35 between 1966 and 2004. That's an average annual rate of 29 deaths across all sports. However, from March of 2021 to March of 2022, at least 769 athletes suffered cardiac arrest, collapsed or just died on the field worldwide.

He is a constitutional attorney with three landmark cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.--Since Friday of last week when the constitutionalists on the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe, there have been at least 12 states which began protecting lives with more to come on July 24th when the statutory 30-day enactment delays have been fulfilled.
