There are few things as devastating as a betrayal, an attack on the innocent, or a slanderous lie. Perhaps that is why our first desire is to often take revenge on the perpetrators. Jacob’s sons avenged their sister Dinah’s rape, but were they in the right? How are we to react when we, or someone we love, is wronged?
