Happy Veterans Day! Today we honor all military veterans that have served in the United States Armed Forces. We would like to thank all those that are currently serving and would like to pause and remember all those who have given their lives for our country. Todays guest is Captain Anthony Baker. Anthony Baker is a native of Annapolis, Maryland, and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and recently moved to Boise, ID. He has his Master’s Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies, graduating from the Naval War College in 2007. His operational tours include: · SEAL Team TWO and SEAL Team EIGHT · Deployed to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East Platoon Commander and Operations Officer at SEAL Team ONE · Task Unit Commander at Joint Special Operations Task Force (JSOTF) Unit Commander/Executive Officer at SEAL Team SEVEN. · Special Operations Forces (SOF) support to Afghanistan. · Deployed Kabul, AFG in support of International Security and Assistance SOF · Commanded SOCOM’s Joint Acquisition Task Force-TALOS (Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit), leading SOF Operators, engineers, and acquisition professionals in the development of a next generation combat suit. He was awarded: · Superior Service Medal · Bronze Star Medal (with Combat V) · Defense Meritorious Service Medal · Meritorious Service Medal · Joint Service Commendation Medal · Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards) · Joint Service Achievement Medal (three awards) · Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards) · Combat Action Ribbon (three awards) In this episode you will learn leadership and management skills from a military and business perspective, the number one thing Anthony wishes Americans would know about our military and so much more!
