Vibrations Seris

This mix is a blend of sound landscapes, different genres, beats and textures. An invitation for adventurous listeners and music lovers without preconceived ideas. The whole structure has a cinematic approach with different chapters and dynamic ranges of intensity. I hope people can enjoy the ride as much as I did selecting some of these gems.

This is an journey through the roots of my aesthetics regarding 90's hip hop and G-funk. I selected the most moody and eerie tracks that played a key role into shaping my modern techno sound.

For this mix I wanted to explore the nomadic outskirts of techno music, with a special visit to the beat freaks.

The curation of sounds in this set is inspired by human brain waves: from the calm depths of delta to the alert energy of gamma, creating a space where you can meditate, detach, and visualise — all while your body feels the urge to move. As you listen, I invite you to paint a landscape in your mind based on your memories and desires, unlocking moments of intuition and focus, and connecting to a state of detached awareness.

This recording was made during a challenging time for me and my fellow Ukrainians, amidst an existential struggle for the values of our community. Music is an essential part of my life, transcending the confines of style and perception. The story you are about to hear was recorded in the largest country in Europe, historically known as Kyivan Rus, where the principles of freedom and self-defense reign supreme. Through this set, I aim to share a narrative that lies deep within me.

Past, present and future are stitched together by time... which rushes relentlessly, relentlessly and without empathy ahead of us. It leaves us with the knowledge that nothing will ever come back.

What remains is the desperate desire to be able to walk on it... back and forth to hold on to moments and emotions that have now come to an end, like everything else that is destined to end.... except time...

This recording is a reflection of my artistic philosophy as a musician and DJ. I tell a story that combines depth and light-heartedness. Music is serious and important as a craft. It's a universal language all of us intuitively understand. But at the same time music should be enjoyed with an open mind, without any preconceptions or expectations. Here I combine the things I love the most about music: commanding and powerful low frequencies, abstract and emotional sound design and textured rhythms. All of that being heavily inspired by my love for the clubs, dancefloors and the wonderful communities they create.

This mix is made entirely out of old vinyls that I found in a small record loft in Hong Kong earlier this year.

With this mix I have really tried to express full vulnerability. Often, there is an aching pressure to make music or curate mixes with the underlying thought of ‘I want this to be well received’ - when really, what's most important, is that the music touches your own soul in an authentic way. Tracks that often fall between the cracks of defined genre’s, this is a 2 hour collection of records that resonate heavily.

The theme is love and lunacy. You will hear a lot of Melodies (which is not usually the case in my other podcasts😅). These melodies are the ones that stuck with me these last years …. It’s my first «ambientish » mix let’s say, with nearly no rhythms and many feminine voices. Only few percussions made their way into the mix cause I am too fascinated by drums. I wanted the podcast to transcript my feelings toward summer and melancholy.
