Charlie Kauffman hit a wall while writing his follow-up to his breakthrough hit, Being John Malkovich. I promise that we hit anything but podcaster’s block with this episode. While the film places a spotlight on what happens behind the scene of a movie, it dives deep into the depths of depression with Nicolas Cage. How you see yourself is a big portion of how we see the world around us, how we interact and more. In this episode, we’re doubling our Cage fun and diving down deep. How does depression adapt to airwaves? How does mental health awareness and hope adapt to your ears? Hit play and subscribe to find out.

Love is a hard thing to find. Some of us spent our entire lives looking for it. Sometimes when we find it, it doesn’t come in the way we expected it. When fans were introduced to Harley Quinn, over 25 years ago, her story resonated a bit too closely for some of us. A psychologist that threw away a career all for love. Though, the longer that she stayed in the relationship the deeper the toxicity ate away at her. That was until she couldn’t take it anymore. Enter DC Universe’s brand-new cartoon on the fan favorite Batman villain. We’re breaking down every moment of the first season which was arguably “perfect television.”

Throughout its ten episode first season, the series manages to reinvent the classic Disney Channel trilogy, while also penning a love letter to The Office - of all things. Join as we talk about what songs were our favorite because yes, while this series focuses on the classic songs. It introduces us to some pretty great new numbers. More than just music, the characters have some heavy arcs throughout and we're talking it all. Grab your jersey because we have all this and more for this episode of Victims and Villains.
