If We Knew The Pains And Sorrows Which Make Life Hard With Whom We Are Tempted To Be Impatient...

1 Thes. 5 : 11. Therefore encourage one another and build each other.

We should learn to look at the faults of others only through love"s eyes , with charity, patience and compassion. We do not know the secret history of the lives of others. We do not know how piercing sorrows have produced the scars which we see in people's souls.

We do not know the pains and trials which make life hard to many with whom we are tempted to be impatient...

If we knew all the secret burdens and the heart-wounds which may carry hidden beneath their smiling faces, we would be patient and gentle with all men.

Let's be an encourager like Barnabas..It was Barnabas who stood with Paul when the disciples refused to accept Paul. It was Barnabas encouragement in the initial stages of Christian life of Paul.

Otherwise Paul would have not written more than half of the new testament and there would been not so many churches had Barnabas encouraged him. With his influence he stood with Paul when disciples opposed Paul and he was the encourager to accompany Paul initially in the missions.

Barnabas had also encouraged and supported John Mark who went back home from the middle of the missionary journey. He pursued with John Mark though Paul opposed. Had he not pursued with John Mark inspite of his earlier mistakes, there would not have been the Mark Gospel for us.

Let's be an encourager in small ways. Who knows? One you helped might become great instrument in the Lord's hand. We never hear after a certain period regarding Barnabas, but his good work continued in the lives of John Mark and apostle Paul.

Topic : To Be Joyful And Successful, We Need To Get Rid Of Strongholds In Our Lives. These Strongholds Can Be - Being Enslaved To Sin, Worries, Anxieties, Low In Confidence, Lack Of Faith...

Romans 6:16

Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey —whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Even as Christians, there are things that can bind us and enslave us. Inside every person, there are some strongholds. We may call them by lot of names – natural desires, instincts, wrong habits – but these are the ones which block our joy, peace, confidence, relationship with Christ and others, and makes us barren, fruitless, helpless and hopeless.

We try everything to handle these strongholds on our own strength, and still become further discouraged, defeated and dejected.

We forget to invite our Heavenly Father to come and put His arms around us, and pull us out of these strongholds which grip and enslave us.

The most miserable person in the world is, not someone who is not a Christian. It's a Christian who has the name of Christ, but still has areas of strongholds in life which enslave them to sin.

But, when we are enslaved to Christ, we live to please Him, we desire and look upon Him to take us out of these strongholds of sins, and be obedient to Him in every way... Then we become truly free.

John 10: 10 and 11.

Thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and destroy.

But, I have come that they might have life, and life in abundance.

What Are The Barriers That Hinder Us In Enjoying Praise And Worship?

Hinderances can be from sins of gossip, pride, hatred, anger and arrogance because of having power and wealth, fear of other habitual and secret sins.

Relationship conflicts, and many struggle in this area thereby not allowing them to worship the Lord freely. Cold and luke warm relationship with God.

Such sins are the main hindrances that will never allow us to worship the Lord.

What are the barriers that you feel are hindering you personally to worship and praise Him and reap the blessings of worship? You and I can make a small check list.

Then, how can we overcome these barriers?

By being obedient to the Word of God..

1 Sam. 15 : 22 says, "To obey is better than sacrifice." Obedience is the best form of worship.

This true worship in an individual's life can happen only when he or she truly knows and experiences personally who the Lord God Almighty is, and truly understands what He has done for us. And experience personally His love, His power of Omnipotence and Omniscience.

Completely yielded life to Christ enables us to truly worship Him. A life that has a clean and pure heart. Anyone who sacrifices self centeredness enjoys worshipping the Lord.

Topic : Be Positive! Future Is More Precious.... It's More Valuable To Look Where You Are Going Than To See Where You Have Been.

Mourning over past failures? "Don't let past mistakes become memorials. They should be cremated and not embalmed. Future is for those who keep moving."

Don't dwell In the past failures but move ahead.

Don't look back to past failures and give up, but wisely keep moving forward.

Its more valuable to look where you are going than to see where you have been. Don't limit the dream in you by brooding over past failures and situations, but keep moving ahead.

Edmund Burke says, "The past should be a spring board, not a hammock." No one can ever plan the future by the past.

"Misery is a yesterday person trying to get along with a tomorrow God." - Mike Mudrock.

The future frightens only those who prefer living in the past and past failures, loss and setbacks. Living in the past is such an appaling waste of energy, we can't build on it.

Yesterday has passed forever and is beyond our control. What lies behind us is insignificant compared to what lies ahead.

We must understand those who predominantly talk about the past are usually going back..

It's important to look forward as our calling and destiny is there.

Paul says in

Philip 3 : 13, 14. Forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize to which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Topic: let's Be An Ambassador/ Spokesperson Of Christ!

2 Corinthians 5:20

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Those who are demonstrators of

God' s love patience and peace are His ambassadors and spokesperson.

Those who are dictators, they too are leaders of the church having vast knowledge from the Bible, but they do not demonstrate the love and Word of God in action..

Such too give lot of instruction and teaching from the Word but without demonstration of Love and harmony. And revival is standstill..

Then Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.

Most of us, our conduct and conversation, and our works do not be the refelector of being an ambassador of Christ..

Jesus remains our Unparalleled Example. He never imposed His will on another. He never sought to dominate or control others. He watched His Father, and whatever He saw Him do, Jesus did the same in word and deed (John 15:15).

When we watch another demonstrate responsibility, we witness efforts that work. With his words and actions, he outwardly reveals what he believes inwardly. The importance of his or her is made apparent by their behaviour.

The way we act proves the value of the words that we proclaim.

When we believe and demonstrate the truths of the Bible, we can change our homes, our churches, our cities, our society too. The New Testament church turned the world upside down (Acts 17:6). They took responsibility over their new found liberty in Christ. They appropriated the newly-endued power of the Holy Ghost. They demonstrate to the world what Jesus did not dictate but demonstrated them love peace and righteousness which is His Kingdom.

Emulate Jesus’ example. Live it loud. Say it and display it. Demonstrate the difference!

Dear Jesus, we long to be your ambassador. Please help us to speak only the words that You would say and reflect in what all we do and say. Help us to do only the things that You have planned for us to do. May the Holy Spirit inside of us change the atmosphere for Your glory. May our lives demonstrate the things that are important to You, and may others be drawn to know You more. In Your name… Amen.

Failures! Failure can become a weight or It can give you wings. Depends... If we don't give up, we will be winners.

Psalm 37:23-24:

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

One of the riskiest thing you can do in Life is to take too many precautions and never have failures but remain in mediocrity.

You are like a tea bag - not worth much till you've been through some hot water. So is life.

Theodore Roosevelt once said, "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in great twilight that knows not victory or defeat.

Simon Peter had so many failures. But that did not stop him to pursue. Failures made him even more strong and he was ultimately one of the great instrument to build the Kingdom of God.

The world who laughed at Peter's failures have to look to him in amazement. One who was fearful of a little girl, later on spoke with authority and power before rulers and kings.

David fell to the temptation to beautiful Bathshebha and committed adultery and muder too. But, unlike king Saul, David rose up, confessed and truly repented of his sins and failures and became a mighty force rest of his life as a victorious king. There was absolute peace during his reign.

But unfortunately many Christians are unable to wriggle out or come out of their sins and thereby unable to live a victorious, successful and joyful life.

Even in professional life, without being afraid of failures and what others think, if we keep on attempting and pursuing, one day the same world which looked down on you will wait to shake hand with you.

Topic : What We Sow We Reap. love One Another, Help One Another, Serve One Another, Bear One Another’s Burdens, And So On.

What we sow we reap. When you are praying for others, others will be praying for you. Today's key word Is "One Another."

The New Testament uses the phrase “one another” 58 times. The Bible says to Whether we believe it or not, it pays back with rich dividends. Let us not hold back like how monkeys hold back the nuts even when they are caught....

It is important to know what it means to support one another. Being kind to one another and to love one another.

"Our lives will last as long as God has something for us to do." - Max Anders

"If we have no peace, we have forgotten that we belong to each other." - Mother Teresa

We weren't meant to carry the load of life on our own. We need one another. Life can be heavy. People have been through disappointments, failures, betrayal, and some are dealing with illness, and are lonely. They can smile on the outside but be hurting inside. They have pressure and stress we know nothing about.

James tells us to "pray for one another" (James 5:16). When you pray for them, it helps lighten the load. Your prayer causes the angels to be busy in their work. Chains of depression, sickness, financial mess, people are at the cross roads unable to take decisions, and loneliness that have held them back begin to loosen, when we are in touch with one another and when we pray.

When we speak faith into their destiny, the forces of darkness begin to lose their grip. It may not happen overnight, but our prayer is making a difference. Our prayer may be what's keeping them going. They don't even know you're praying, but the Scripture says that what you do in secret, God will reward you in the open. When you pray for others, God will always make sure somebody is praying for you.

Topic: God Is Good Even When Times Are Bad. God Is Good Even When Things Look Bleak Hopeless And Grim For His Trustworthy Children.

His grace, His mercy and kove abounds in plenty for His faithful and trustworthy children.

Well, we go through a lot of tests in this world, don’t we? But the most important testing that we as Christians go through, is sometimes from the Lord Himself, as we see in Psalm 11 verse 5:

“The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked.”

God always provides the right guidance and encouragement to His children. He often-times grinds our pride and arrogance to bring more humility and more dependence upon Him rather than our strengths and power.

God the Father has nothing in His heart but love grace and Mercy because of His son, Jesus Christ towards His faithful children.

Let us reaffirm His goodness inspite our unfaithful sometimes. These promises are purely meant for God's faithful and trustworthy children only..

Mt 19:26. With God all things are possible.

Lk 1 37: With God nothing will be impossible.

God Is Good Even When Times Are Bad. God is good even when things look bleak and grim.

Jerm. 32 17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

Topic: David's Unique Faith. And David Said To The King Saul, "Let No Man's Heart Fail Because Of This Goliath; Thy Servant Will Go And Fight With This Uncircumcised Philistine."

Most of the times we are more scared of the circumstances and adversaries than the power of the sovereign Almighty Living God.

1 Sam. 17:26 :

And David said to the men stood by him saying, "... Who is this uncircumcised Philistine who defies the armies of the living God?

God never puts any story in the Bible without a reason. And He never specifies that certain narratives are only for children or for so and so...

When God inspired the writer of 1 & 2nd Samuel, He very well knew we would all face various types of Goliaths in our lives. Sometimes these Goliaths could be people, or could be any threatening endangering situation in our lives. These Goliath type adversaries, circumstances, or a disability, or sickness, or can be an adversary type Goliaths within your own family, or work area or within a church. Here in this case 1 Sam. 17: 32, it's been Goliath who has tormented king of Israel, Saul, and his vast powerful army for 40 days and 40 nights.

When there was no hope, David, the then shepherd boy comes to the scene.

And David said to king Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of this Goliath; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

Most of the times we are more scared of the circumstances and adversaries.

As I said, it can be in our job, our sickness or within a family, like Absalom son of David who aspired for his own father's kingly throne, and waged a war against his own ordained father. Foolishly Absalom did not know if he is waging a war against his father, David who has been ordained by the Almighty God himself, means he is waging a war against the Almighty God. We know Absalom was defeated and became a victim of his own pride.

These adversaries can be of different sizes and forms, and look too big to defeat them.

No matter how big your adversary, you can win over, I can win over, and we all can win over. Because, we are God's chosen children, and no weapon and no principalities nor powers can neither prosper nor stand before us.

Let us declare the promises of God saying, "If God is with us who can be against us?" If God is with us, no Goliath can be against us.
