Topic: Restoration Of What Is Lost And The Inner Man Blessings...

Joel: 2: 13. Rend your heart and not your garments.

It means God is interested that we first give Him our heart and life to Him. Joel the Prophet's message still rings true today. God is first interested that we give our heart than be busy in our activities and other sacrifices.

David wrote in Ps. 51:17. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God , thou will not despise.

"Rend your heart and not your garnents" means, that we must look inwards and make the change which reflects outward - of our love, conduct and biblical values.

If so, What restoration takes place?

What we have lost God knows. We might have lost financially; Lost a job; Lost a friend; experienced broken relationship; strained relationship; lost health due to sickness.

As long as we live on this planet we keep losing many things in life. And as we get older we lose health, when we become sick we lose health. But still we can be cheerful and glad. That's the great hope we have.

As Christians, there is one hope which can never be lost in this world and never be snatched from us in this world - That is our 'inner man 'which is the spiritual part of a person; our relationship with the creator or the inward adorning beauty of the hidden person of the heart. It keeps becoming stronger and stronger and firmly rooted even if our mortal body say our physical body decays and diseased, we don't have to be disheartened. But pin our hope in the future, as we desire to abide and live in Him.

Rom. 7:22. Paul said, "For I delight in the law of God according to the Inner

man. "

Even as we sojourn in this transient world, He restores us what all we lost. Cheer up! Word of God says in verses 24 to 26, I will restore to you the years the locusts has eaten.... And ye shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

Thank you Lord, for whatever we lost in the past years, you are going to restore us as we rend, give and surrender our hearts to you. In ...

Topic: Pay The Price. When We Pay The Price, Blessings Will Overflow. None Can Stop...

Anything good we desire in life we need to pay the price. Be it studies, in our job/Profession, sports, family life, and last but most important, is our Christian walk with Christ. We see in life only few paid the price and they attained success which the world can notice.

Out of many who were blessed and succesful, let us see the life of Catherine Kulhman. From an ordinary teenager she became the world renowned and rich succesful wonan of God in the ministry. Benny Hynn was consecrated and blessed in one of her crusade meetings. When we are hardworking and trustworthy God is going to bless our work.

Understand she used to work ceaselessly for 18 hours daily. She said, "Nothing comes easy in life sitting in an easy chair 💺 and not coming out of comfort zone. We need to pay the price."

Today's devotion is from 2 Chron 07:14, it says, when we do four things mentioned in this verse, God is going to bless us.

1.

God is going to hear our prayers

2.

Forgive our sins.

3.

And heal our land.

Means restores and blesses us, our families and those who are around us.

In order to get those blessings, let us see what the Lord wants us to do.

We need to obey all these four and all are equally significant and important.

Humble ourselves.

If we are humble, blessings certainly follow us. Many make efforts to look humble but they do not humble themselves.

Pray. One thing I've learned in life based on His Word. When our heart is clean and right in His presence it will be real joy and pleasure to pray and praise Him. And the Lord hears our prayers.

Seek His face.

We need to seek Him instead of seeking things of this world. Seek His kingdom. Mt. 6:33

Turn away from our wicked ways.

Need to shy away and flee even from strongholds of sin and make a U turn.

Just a question for us to introspect where we stand.

When we ask God to forgive our sins, He makes our heart clean and white. Right!? My question is, "How long can we keep our heart and life clean and white?"

Can we keep the slate white for weeks? Days? Or Hours or Just for minutes? Where do we stand?

💯 % repentance is 💯 % blessings and 💯 % anointing.

Tomorrow we will also see what more blessings and Restoration God gives us for what have lost in the past.

Help us Lord to to humble ourselves crushing our pride, Ego and self centredness, and pray with a clean and righteous heart heart, to seek you instead of the worldly pleasures and power and positions and always to turn away from wicked ways... In ....

Topic: Love! One Act Of Love Is More Divine Than Thousand Talks Or Sermons On Love.

John 13: 35. “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

The sign of a Christian is love. How many people know you’re a Christian because of your loving lifestyle? Is it 100 or 10 or none? It's upto us for self introspection.

We sing about love, talk about love, pray about love, and study love. But do we show it? Or do we instead put down others who are faithful to God? To develop love as your life principle and make it your greatest aim, you need to take action as soon as you finish reading this devotional—because love doesnt just talk but acts!

Here’s what we need to do to develop a loving lifestyle.

It's challenging but not impossible.

First, start acting lovingly in your relationships *first at home* and then with neighbours, relatives, eork place, church and othee places we go daily.

Have you acted unlovingly toward someone or hold grudge, hatred and try to put down them? *It’s time to seek reconciliation. Make things right with your kids, your spouse, eith your friends, your parents, or someone at school or work place.*

Then, start increasing the number of relationships you have. If the most important aim in life is to love, then we need to build as many relationships as possible. Why? Because the world will know about God’s love by the way Christians love each other—and by how Christians love other people around the

It takes time to love other people. If you love your friends, you’ve got to spend time with them. If you love your kids, you spend time with them and deal wisely and gently.

If you love Jesus, you have to spend time with Him too in prayer and Word Of God.

Love always costs time and energy. But it’s always worth it.

Can you imagine what would happen if everyone in the church loved like this—if we all committed ourselves to acting in love and giving our time unselfishly so that people could get a taste of how much God loves them? It would change just the church but it would chsnge the world too. But it does not happen. Why? Simple. Too many activities and too many tags attached, but no love visible. It would grow God’s Kingdom. If we truly focus on Christ's love, It would make God so happy.

People are attracted to Christ more than they are persuaded to him. They’re attracted by the love of God shown through the people who claim to follow him.

And they won’t care what we know until they first know that we care.

Lord help us not to envy or be jealous of someone's progress - coming up, not to behave rudely which we often do, not to seek our own and not to think evil or a fall of someone but to bear all things with forgiveness and endure all things spoken and did against us and win people rather than win arguments and losing them. We need your grace and power to be gracious kind and loving. Help us dear Lord to speak less and love more... In ....

John 6 : 51.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.

In the Hebrew language, Bethlehem means “House of bread.” How fitting that God sent Jesus, the Bread of Life, to become the provision for all humanity there?!...

The threshing floors at Bethlehem provided a place where the wheat was separated from the chaff, the seed was ground into flour, and the flour made into bread.

In the Old Testament, Naomi returned to Bethlehem. Her family moved out to a heathen nation, Moab to escape the famine at Bethlehem, Gods blessed place.

Consequences - her husband and two sons died, leaving her with no means of support.

Naomi heard that God had blessed His people with bread again. So she and her daughter-in-law, Ruth, returned back to Bethlehem.

While gleaning in Boaz’s fields, Ruth met her kinsman-redeemer, Boaz.

She found favour with Boaz who welcomed her into his family. She came to Bethlehem poor, alone, empty and outside the promises of God. Boaz made her his bride, brought her into the covenant, and enriched her life in every way.

Never move out God's blessed place, Bethlehem which gives contentment. satisfaction, peace and true prosperity. It's the true 'Bread of life' where you will never lack any good thing....

Help us to be longing to have the bread of life always which is your Divine Word. As we decide to stay in Bethelehem, bless us with joy, peace, holiness and abundance....

Topic: Hope Against Hopelessness And Stagnation!

Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen.

Hope is a state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcome with respect to circumstances in one's life. To Cherish a positive desire with anticipation is hope.

But, today we are going to dwell on the hope of a child of God - "The Christian hope."

Eg. For a new home you installed attractive and beautiful taps. But unless there is a source of water either from a pump house or bore well the purpose of new beautiful taps has no meaning or purpose.

Similarly, for us the source of every christian is Christ and has to be Christ. Where there is Christ there is life, there is hope and there is the source of ressurected power that works within us. Without hope in Christ, It's like those beautiful taps without the resource of water.

People who have hope in Christ they dispel fear doubts and depression away from their mind and lives. Even in serious sickness our hope in Christ never dies. Sickness, cannot touch our inner man which infact grows even stronger against adverse circumstances of life. This hope in Christ fills us with joy, peace and faith.

We may go through pain and suffering but we are not dismayed because our hope makes inner man more stronger irrespective of what we go through in life.

Rom 15:13. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Joy and peace is never based on our problems that surrounds us, but in Christ, our hope.

Thank you Lord for making us your children and giving us that hope which never draws us to despair and fear. And we know that our life is secured and sustained with your grace, mercy and hope. That hope in you we know will never disappoint us. In Jesus sweet and blessed name we pray.

God desires that we overflow with His blessing in abundance.

The blessings depend on

with whom our influence is...

To be blessed, the largest influence in our life ought to be Jesus Christ and His kingdom. Kingdom of God within you means, love joy and peace; God's influence over us; God's guidance to our life, and God's Omnipotent power within us.

The largest pandemic will not determine our future. The recession of the world will not determine our future.

But, total surrender opens the door for God's restoration and overflowing blessings.

When you want to blessed beyond measure, you need to be a giver and not to hold back. We need to allow blessings to overflow from our lives to others.

Do you know about the speciality of Sea of Galilee? Water is always fresh and overflowing. Why water is fresh? It receives fresh water from river Jordan. And it has outlets through which water flows out to lakes and reservoirs. And so water in the sea of Galilee is always fresh. If outlets are not there, water becomes stagnant and stinks and we cannot stay for long time in the sea.

We too need to similarly have outlets to share all the blessings we have so that we don't stink but overflow with fresh and new blessings from above like that Jordan river.

It's for us to check whether we are allowing blessings God gave are shared with others or not.

God ecpects us when we are blessed, to be a blessing to others. We are blessed to influence someone. We are blessed to guide someone. We are blessed to help those who are in need.

The thought for us for today is when we have the desire to bless others, help others without blowing our trumpets, God guide us to blessings which overflow in our lives.

Whatever we have in abundance we need to release it without holding back to get the blessings. If we hold back, then we may retain what we have, but our cup will never overflow with blessings which people can see. The blessings of goodness and mercy - like how David the psalmist declared in Ps. 23. "My cup 🥤 runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me." Not few days, but he says, "All the days of my life." May it happen to all of us.

Help us Lord to live life in such a way that attracts people and be a blessing to the needs of people around. In ....

A great man of God once said, "You become what you speak."

Great king and once anointed man of God, King Saul kept on thinking and saying, "I cannot fight this monstrous Goliath, it's impossible to even face him." He not only became so fearful and defeated himself but he passed on that fear of defeat even to his entire powerful army.

Though Philistine was a heathen, his words brought tremors to the children of the living God. You may read 1 Samuel 17: 8 to 10, how the words of heathen Goliath brought shivers in the camp of Israel, Children of living God: And the Philistine said, "I defy the armies of Israel this day. Give me a man that we may fight together". When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the giant, they were dismayed and greatly afraid.

How true it is?! When people talk to us they either give life giving words or words of death, like king Saul and the army. They thought wrong, believed wrong, confessed wrong and were defeated, demoralized and terrorized.

So, our words either give life or death to ourselves and to others too!

# Not only our tongue impacts our own lives, but it also impacts either pisotively or negatively within our families, society or amongst friends circle.

We must know that we are chosen people of the living God who rose from the death victoriously....

When people talk to you, they either give you life giving words or life threatening words, words of defeat, discouragement and despondency.

#

Most people live with defeated and demoralized lives who keep speaking right from the early morning saying, "I can't, it's impossible, it's too big and beyond my reach and my abilities, this sickness is incurable, I may have to live with it."

# They self chain themselves in fear with demoralizing words of hopelessness, like king Saul as if our God is not a living God any more.

When people listen to us they should be drawn to us and towards the living living God. by our words of hope, words of life giving strength, words of assurance.

Lord, help us to draw closer and closer to you in Word, Prayer and Fellowship so that we are strengthened in you to desk and declare life giving words of hope, life and assurance. In ....

Two things usually encounter our life. Faith and doubt. Doubt when something unusual or sad thing happens in our lives! Failure, rejection, sudden sickness, stagnation in life, life not moving upward or loss of loved ones.

Faith and doubt are part of our day to day life. A well known quote. "Doubt creates darkest moments even in finest hour; faith brings finest moments even in darkest hour."

It is often emphasised that becoming a christian is more than attending the church regularly. When accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior something supernatural takes place. He comes to dwell in our hearts to give us His power and grace to have eternal life. But it would be a mistake to imagine from then on we are automatically and magically be Victorious over sin and doubts.

We read in Hebrews 10:38, "Now the just shall live by faith." This is the secret of all the saints of God in the Bible. We need to exercise everyday faith - simply trusting everyday. We cannot produce faith in one day. Everyday we need to trust Him and grow steadily.

The more we draw closer to Christ by consistently using the resources of Prayer, of meditating God’s Word and Christian fellowship our trusting in God and faith level gets stronger and our doubts and fears weaker.

Faith overpowers doubts, darkness, fear and anxiety and gives us victory over sin satan and over all circumstances.

If you gain faith in God you will win all. "You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." - Martin Luther King Jr.

As we walk through our day to day life, help us to simply trust in you even when we don't understand, and even when things go beyond our control. Guide us and protect us from frailing faith. And give us victory and joy.

Topic: Reconciliation And Peace Making!

Acts 9 : 27. Barnabas told the apostles of how Saul encountered with the Lord and his courageous preaching of Christ in Damascus.

We have noted the two of the greatest Indian cricketers, Sunil Gavaskar the most respected person as a cricketer and commentator, and the present great batsman of this era, Virat Kohli had a spat in the open when the commentators raised the inability of raising the strike rate by Virat Kohli n the recent IPL matches. Gavaskar commented It is their job and the commentators have right to discuss and pass verdicts on players without any bias.

On hearing these comments Virat Kohli instead of making the bat to talk he reacted as usual for which Gavaskar expressed Kohli should not have reacted. Both had their difference of opinion and a strained relationship. These war of words between the two had a massive uproar on social media where Kohli fans began attacking Gavaskar.

Instead of supporting one person and provoking another which happens normally, Wasim Akram, one of the most respected cricketer in the world, and one of the greatest alrounder the world cricket had, said good words about both of them and praised both of them in the media as great world cricketing players. It's pure words of reconciliation. He further said. "In the future both will move in together quickly."

Wasim Akram stopped the rut, further damage and restored calmness and peace with the two waring parties. That's exactly is reconciliation about - defusing friction and bringing in peace offering an olive branch.

From Acts chsoter 9, we will focus now on Barnabas the Reconciliator and peacemaker, encourager and a perfect guide:

We see, when Paul after his conversion first came to Jerusalem to meet the apostles they refused to take him as a disciple knowing how he persecuted the followers of Christ.

In Acts 9:27 we see how Barnabas stood with Paul and explained to the apostles how Saul encountered with the Lord Jesus and his bold preaching of Jesus. He made Saul comfortable and reconciled him to the group and made him part of the apostle's group.

Barnabas used his name and his good relationship with the apostles to speak up for Saul when no one wanted Saul.

Every christian has to grow progressively. No one is exceptional and no one reaches 100% perfect in this world. It varies depending on the individual's obedience and faithfulness.

Here at this stage Barnabas has been a mentor and a guide and encourager to Saul who has been still at the infant stage of Christian life. Paul fumbled not to give a 2nd chance to John Mark who failed in the first missionary journey. But here we see more matured and more seasoned and more righteous person than Saul encouraged John Mark and took with him and mentored John Mark who grew under Barnabas leadership. And John Mark went on to write the gospel according to Mark.

How many time you've become a peacemaker? Creating warmth encouragement and peace amongst two rival persons or two waring groups in friendship, in a family, in office or in the church?

Or How many times you have instigated, provoked and gossiped to be a Peacebreaker and character assassin?

Let's be that kind and warm hearted and peacemakers and encouragers like Wasim Akram and Barnabas defusing friction and bringing people together.

Ty Lord for the blessed life of Barnabas who has showed a true Christian living by mentoring, encouraging and standing with him when Saul was left alone rejected by the apostles. Help us to be people builders to be peace makers and not be Peacebreakers. ....

Reconciliation - 3. One Minute Of Reconciliation Is Worth More Than A Whole Life Of Fiendship!" - Gabriel García.

"Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen." - Winston Churchill.

I. Reconciliation begins with God (Gen. 32:1-2)

"Jacob went on his way, and God's angels met him" (Gen.32:1). What did the angels say to Jacob? Whatever was said motivated Jacob to make amends, to admit his wrong, and make amends with his brother Esau.

I believe that God works in our lives the same way. When we seek to enter his presence, he reveals to us those relationships that are broken and prompts us to

make them right.

II. Reconciliation with God comes when we reconcile with others.

Those angels showed up for a reason. That reason, I believe, was to inform Jacob that before things can be right with God they have to be right with his brother, Esau.

If we want reconciliation with God we have to be reconciled with one another.

Here's the principle: You cannot live in harmony with your Heavenly Father until you are living in harmony with your human brothers and sisters. Broken ties with one another not only sever relationships with one another; it also severs the relationship with God.

Didn't Jesus say the same thing?

(Matt. 5:23-24):

"So if you are offering your gift on the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift" Notice, carefully what Jesus is saying. He is talking about coming to worship. And, if you are offering a gift - of money, of praise - and you remember somebody has ill will or hard feelings against you, go to that person and make it right, make amends, seek reconciliation.

It blesses us strengthens us and paves the way for blessed n joyful path.

Help us to reconcile if we have offended somrone and relationship is sore for any reason Lord. In ...
