There was a lot of movement in the transfer portal for football, so hopefully it will translate to a better season next year, along with a new playbook. Finally, the men's and women's basketball teams are looking great for this season with strong starts for both teams.

There is hope for a closer game because NC State's offense will not be as good following the unfortunate injury of its quarterback his last appearance; however, it will still be an uphill battle for a win an away game against a ranked opponent.

John and Jay discuss the Hokies loss to Miami and the rollercoaster the game was. The first half was a complete struggle for the Hokies as Miami repeatedly marched down the field. After half time though, the Hokies came out of the locker room a new team and were close to coming from behind to pull out a win. If the team that played the fourth quarter comes back for the rest of their games, Virginia Tech may have a chance of pulling out some more wins this season.
