Donnovan kicks off the show by visiting with one of Canada's most decorated athletes, Hayley Wickenheiser (2:54). They discuss  the 'Be the MVP' campaign in which she partners with Merck Canada, to challenge all Canadians to help change the odds on lung cancer by getting informed and taking early action against the disease. Afterwards, they chat about the newly-formed PWHL and her continuing role with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Donnovan also chats with Maggie Mac Neil (23:51), who capped her season by winning five gold medals at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago - they discuss her incredible outing in Chile, her teammates, how she balances school and being a professional athlete, and what her favourite cheat day food is.
