VOCM News was the first to report that the body found in St. John’s Harbour last week was that of Kevin O’Brien, a witness at the Anne Norris Murder Trial. 37-year-old O’Brien testified he was with Anne Norris drinking the night she killed Marcel Reardon and was with her when she tossed the murder weapon in the harbour. Anne Norris was found Not Criminally Responsible for the crime, but the Crown has filed an appeal in the case. Kevin O’Brien’s friends told VOCM that the trial had taken its toll on him and he was extremely concerned he would have to testify again.
