5/21 Fred Snook discusses the high school rodeo shows and the recent placings from local competitors. 

This weekend (May 22 and 23) in Challis there will be another radio show. Friday's rodeo will start at 6 for high school. On Saturday, the jr. high rodeo starts at 9 and the second high school show starts at 1. 

Outside attendance is discouraged so families of competitors can attend while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

5/20 Jenny Tracy gives the weekly Steele Memorial Medical Center COVID-19 update. There are 102 negative test results and 1 positive test result (the same case from April). 

The Steele Memorial Medical Center will also post weekly COVID-19 updates to their Facebook page. The SMMC is still following COVID-19 guidelines. 

Jenny also shares information about skin cancer and answers some frequently asked questions on the topic.

5/18 Amber Pace and Dyland Brewer with Salmon Drug Free Youth (DFY) discuss their project for May, Mental Health Awareness Month. DFY is hosting a 30-day journaling challenge. Free journals are available for any teen who is interested. You can follow Salmon DFY on Facebook and Instagram for updates on this challenge, journaling prompts, and more. 

On May 29th, there will also be a free drive-in movie hosted by the Salmon DFY at the Salmon High School.

5/15 Tamryn Seybold and Madicyn Peterson from the Salmon High School class of 2020 discuss the graduation plans for Salmon High School. The graduation will be held on June 5th at 8:30 pm. A large screen will be up in the high school parking lot. Each graduate can have four family/friends present.

Graduate gift baskets will be set up in Railroad Park on June 5th from 1-3 pm for any community members who would like to give a gift to a graduate.

5/14 Jennifer Smith, Charli Williams, and Katie Berasi from the Salmon School Garden discuss the upcoming annual plant sale. The garden is located at 1309 Main Street. There will be a variety of plants available for a drive-through plant sale in the Salmon Junior/Senior High School parking lot Saturday, May 16th from 11 am-2 pm.

There will be a variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers for sale. Cash, check, and cards are accepted for payment. The plants are sold by donation only.

5/13 Jenny Tracy gives the weekly Steele Memorial Medical Center COVID-19 update. There are 86 negative test results and 1 positive test result (the same case from April). 

Jenny encourages listeners to limit their social exposure and shopping. She also reminds listeners to follow Governor Little's guidance and wash their hands regularly. 

Furthermore, Jenny encourages those who need medical assistance to come in even if they don't have health insurance in order to maintain their health.

5/12 Jennifer Piva discusses the Challis High School graduation parade. The parade will be Sunday at 2 pm on Main Street in Challis. The parade will also feature classic cars from the Challis Classic Car Club due to the cancellation of the classic car show this year. Seniors in the parade will get to choose their mode of transportation, including cars, horses, tractors, and more! 

The graduation parade will be broadcast on KSRA.

Romona Combs-Stauffer announces the opening of the Salmon Public Library and new expectations and regulations for the library for the time being. 

5/8 The Salmon Public Library will be offering curbside pickup, lock and key cabinets for book pickups and email assistance. The library will open with limited services starting next week. 

Additionally, there will be a summer reading program through the Salmon Public Library, but it will be modified.

5/6 Jenny Traces gives the weekly COVID-19 updates. There is still only one positive case in the county with 73 negative results. Jenny encourages listeners to heed Governor Little's advice to wash our hands and practice social distancing. 

Jenny also discusses the different phases of opening Idaho businesses back up. 

Jenny also announces that CPR classes will be postponed until June or July. A specific date will come soon and will be announced on Voice of the Valley.

5/4 Jenny Tracy announces that she will discuss COVID-19 cases every Wednesday during Phase 1 of Governor Little's plan. Those who are interested can go to EIPH.idaho.gov to view our infectious disease numbers at any time. 

As of today, there are no new confirmed cases in Lemhi County.
