As of today, there are no new confirmed cases in Lemhi County.

5/1 Mike Warner with the Fire Department discusses the cancellation of the April 4th firemans' ball. Warner draws and announces raffle winners for many generous gifts donated by various community members and businesses.

4/29 Jenny Tracy gives an update on the COVID-19 cases in Lemhi county (56 negatives, 6 pending, 1 positive). She also discusses Governor Little's plans for reopening businesses in Idaho, starting May 1st. More information can be found online at coronavirus.idaho.gov

4/27 Ray Penner with the City of Salmon discusses the city pool temporary closure.

Dr. Krakker and Jenny Tracy talk about the county's first positive case of COVID-19 and the importance of handwashing, social distancing, and staying calm. Tracy and Krakker also talk about the symptoms and incubation period of COVID-19. 

Antibody tests are now available at the Steele Memorial Clinic by appointment. 

Jenny Tracy also discusses what SMMC has been doing to prepare for and prevent COVID-19.

4/24 Steele Memorial Medical Center gives information about the first confirmed COVID-19 case in Lemhi County.

The new multi-purpose facility committee, including Bill Allen, Jim Bob Infanger, Ryan Allen, Rick Sessions, Sony Galvan, Chris Born, Cori Allen, and Jeremy Burgess talk about the new facility being built for the Salmon School District. The facility is made possible by the generous donation from Nep Lynch.

Rob Roberts, owner of R&M Steel, announced over the phone on Voice of the Valley that he will be donating the steel building for the facility, which is an incredible donation.

4/22 Jenny Tracy from Steele Memorial Medical Center gives updates from the hospital, including information about antibody testing that is available starting today.

4/21 Shirley hosts Voice of the Valley with the Lemhi County Humane Society. Representatives from the Humane Society, including the Animal Shelter and Rags and Wags. They cover accomplishments by the society this year as well as news and upcoming events.
