Voices of Wrestling Podcast Network

A packed (and ad-free!) edition of the Voices of Wrestling Flagship podcast with topics including NJPW Dominion 6.9 review, our thoughts and ratings on Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega IV, women in New Japan Pro Wrestling, NJPW's Cow Palace card and currently ticket sales, NJPW's Strong Style Evolved UK cards and some of our anticipated matches as well as preview for WWE's Money in the Bank weekend including NXT TakeOver: Chicago and WWE Money in the Bank 2018.

NJPW Dominion is the subject of this week's Wrestling Omakase, as John is joined by first time guest and retired indie wrestling star Gran Akuma (__AKUMA) to break down NJPW's 2nd biggest standalone show of the year! The two of them talk every match from start to finish, including obviously the huge Okada-Omega 2/3 falls main event, the wild Jericho-Naito brawl, the latest battle for the junior title, and much more! We then jump into a full mailbag, touching on both New Japan and non-NJPW topics. It's a fun filled episode with a great guest as we tackle a big show that more than delivered, this week on Omakase!

On this episode of Music of the Mat, Andrew is joined once again by Rich Kraetsch (Voices of Wrestling) to discuss another selection of hip hop wrestling themes. From 90s classics to contemporary favorites, Andrew and Rich delve into songs by The Fugees, Eminem, Ike Dirty, Insane Clown Posse, and more!

Chris Harrington (@mookieghana) and Brandon Howard (@brandonthurston) discuss CM Punk and Colt Cabana's legal victory over Dr. Chris Amann and Punk's subsequent loss at UFC225 in Chicago.

Chris and Brandon talk about additional topics on WRESTLENOMICS PREMIUM. Sign-up for $5/month at patreon.com/wrestlenomics. 1 hour, 53 minutes this week!

This week on a loaded episode of the Voices of Wrestling flagship podcast Joe and Rich review NJPW's Best of the Super Juniors 25 finals, consider the star-making performance for Hiromu Takahashi and what's next for Taiji Ishimori. We also do an extensive preview of NJPW Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-Jo Hall, why we are cautiously optimistic about the Omega/Okada main event and the brilliance of Chris Jericho.

Other topics include an insane 10-man lucha tag (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emO54el-Dnc), worker power in Mexico, LA Park as a Wrestler of the Year contender and more.

It's time to wrap up the Best of the Super Juniors for 2018, and to do so John is joined this week by returning guest Joe Gagne (@joegagne) of the 5 Star Match Game and many other places and projects. John and Joe first discuss the last two nights of the tournament in detail, including all 8 matches from 6/3 and the outstanding final from 6/4\. Once that's out of their way they go competitor-by-competitor for each wrestler in the tournament, reading off their results and giving them a letter grade to sum up their performance. Who did they agree on and who did they see very differently? We also give a best and worst match for each competitor as well as list some other standouts to help you catch up if you've missed any or all of the tournament this year. Finally, we wrap things up with a brief preview of this weekend's big Dominion show! A fun all-Shin Nihon edition of Wrestling Omakase!
