Voices of Wrestling Podcast Network

Join Sarah and Sarah as they try and figure out a format for their show whilst discussing OTT Homecoming, FFPW, NXT Takeover, Royal Rumble NJPW New Beginning shows and a lovely trip around the world in the Coliseum Home video - World Tour ‘92\. Listen in as they discuss highlights, lowlights (which are few and far between on this show - spoiler alert) and what Keith Lee thinks of Dragonite. If that's not enough tune in to find out why @Alan4L got banned from the podcast

On this episode of Music of the Mat, Andrew looks at the theme history of "The Whole F'n Show" Rob Van Dam through a very specific lens: Marijuana! Yes, you read that right. Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

Omakase is back for a rare second time within a week as we break down the 2017 VOW Match of the Year poll! John is joined by five guests, all of them VOW MOTY voters, for a roundtable discussion: Josh Robinson (@MisterJoshDude), Suit Williams (@SuitWilliams), Michael Spears (@fujiiheya), Kevin Hare (@stan__hansen), and Kevin Brown (@darukinoi). Each of us go through our own top 10 match-by-match, revealing where it finished on the final list and whether or not the placement surprised us. Then we break down the entire top 25 including all the matches none of us voted for, and again discuss if we're surprised where they finished. It's a thorough look back at some of the greatest matches of 2017 and a fun time is had by all!

Joe and Rich do their best to cover an amazing weekend of pro wrestling with show reviews of NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia and perhaps the greatest match in WWE history, WWE Royal Rumble 2018, the debut of Ronda Rousey, two NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo shows, the Golden Lovers reuniting, Bullet Club fracturing and the emergence of NJPW's next big star.

Note: There is not Voices of Wrestling 2017 Match of the Year discussion on this episode. We will cover it extensively next week.

Come for the Becky & Sami Mixed Match Challenge loss explanation, stay for the Shake Them Ropes WWE Royal Rumble Weekend in Review extravaganza. Rob and Jeff were live in Philadelphia for the Royal Rumble for all the craziness. Here our first person review of an amazing weekend.

Join Sarah & Sarah for episode 3, where they complete their 2017 year in review. What was the most shocking betrayal of the year? Who had one of the greatest entrances they've ever seen? (Three times in one night)

Find out this and more on Sarah and Sarah: Wrestling Around the World.

The BritWres Roundtable returns for their first episode of Season 2 of the show with the third annual Britties. European wrestling from 2017 is given a good once-over with a fine comb, and the three guys hand out their awards for the year. Plenty of debate is had, deals are made and friendships may possibly be broken all in the name of Euro Graps.

Wrestling Omakase returns with an episode talking three big shows from this past weekend, and this time we're joined by two brand new, first time ever guests! Kara (@QaraKoyunlu) & Aaron (@AaronWrotkowski) join John to help them break down the two NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo shows, and then the WWE Royal Rumble. First from Sapporo, we discuss all the matches and the major happenings, including Minoru Suzuki's murder of Tanahashi and of course our boy the knife pervert's big US Title victory. Plus, we get deep into the Kota/Kenny love story and where it might be going from here.

Then we discuss the Royal Rumble, a rare very good show out of WWE thanks to two awesome Rumble matches. We spend most of our time on both of those, discussing a little bit about why these two matches worked (compared to others in recent years that very much did not) and also discussing some of our favorite spots from each Rumble as well. Finally, we discuss the controversial end of the show and Rousey's introduction.

Once all three shows are out of the way we've still got an interesting mailbag, including questions on whether or not it matters that the Golden Lovers reunion is NJPW cribbing on DDT, who else might be raided from joshi for WWE's women's division, whether or not more than a few guys on the NJPW roster can realistically win the IWGP Heavyweight title (and if that's a good thing or not), where we see things going for the IWGP junior tag titles in 2018, and more! It's a packed episode of Omakase that you won't want to miss!
