Open the Voice Gate is back in 2018, and John has left Mike and Milo home alone! Between talks about Kyoto and a tangent about Idol culture and how it relates to Lucha Libre training practices, the pair break down everything that has happened in Dragon Gate so far in 2018!

They start with the January Korakuen, and breakdown the international debuts, the early comedy match of the year candidate, what's the deal with ANTIAS, and a whole lot about Kzy. Then it's the February Korakuen with the big Match of the Year contender of Mochizuki versus Kzy, along with the match that nearly broke Mike, and what's up with Big R Shimizu.

Milo and Mike then broke down the cards for the big four days of the upcoming Champion Gate series and the Kotoka retirement show, and took listener questions including favorite Dream Gate reigns and top all-time units. It's a packed two and a half hours of Dragon Gate passion so don't miss it!

In this week's episode of the New Japan Purocast, we review "Honor Rising 2018" from 2/23 & 2/24\. Plus, we discuss the Heavyweight Tag Division, New Japan putting on a show in a BIG arena, and much more fun!

Wrestling Omakase returns to break down this past weekend's big Honor Rising shows. John is joined by their longtime friend and wrestling traveling companion Bryan Quinlan (@IM_NOT_QUINLAN) to discuss all of the matches and major news stories coming out of the two surprisingly good joint NJPW/ROH Korakuens. They talk the Golden Lovers reunion, Cody, the Beer City Bruiser's breakout weekend, whether or not any of the other ROH talent impressed, and much more. Then the two of them dive into some old school stories from attending ROH together during the "peak era", including Julius Smokes: Bouncer and more. It's a fun 90 minutes split between current stuff and some older ROH memories too, this week on Omakase!

David Bixenspan (@davidbix) fills in for Chris Harrington (@mookieghana) this week and joins Brandon Howard Thurston (@brandonthurston) to talk this week's topics:

* Wrestling journalism: Does it really exist?

* Ronda Rousey's potential effect on WWE business

* NJPW's tour in Australia

* Ring of Honor sets attendance record with SCOH pre-sale

* UFC vs. WWE worldwide Google searches

* Examining NXT's profitability

* Impact's Ed Nordholm makes statement on alleged late pay

Rob and Jeff are back heading into a potentially wild Elimination Chamber weekend. It's the next stop on the road to WrestleMania. We'll hopefully find out the direction for the Universal and Raw Women's Championships heading into Mania, plus the 2nd debut of Ronda Rousey.

Wrestling Omakase is back with another historical episode, as John is joined by returning 3-time guest Andrew Rich (@AndrewTRich) from the Music of the Mat podcast to discuss a period of WWE both of them still remember well. We discuss Andrew's childhood formative days as a wrestling fan, starting around mid-2003 and going through WrestleMania 23 in 2007; a period where John attended quite a few shows live, including two Manias. Hear their thoughts on the major talents and stories of the era, including Cena's prime, the second run of DX, the original brand split and comparing two eras of brand split PPVs, the original ECW One Night Stand and the ECW brand revival, and much more! It's a unique perspective on a fairly under-covered era of the fed, this week on Wrestling Omakase!

The Wrong Boyz are back in action with a full review of the final EVOLVE shows before Mania Weekend! On this week’s episode, we break down Austin Theory’s big title challenge (and Aaron T’s horrendously off-base prediction), evaluate a couple big performances from rising EVOLVE talents and sing the praises of AR Fox and The Skulk. Plus, you’ll learn which EVOLVE wrestler is a confirmed cop and how YOU can win your very own Wrestling Fans Against Fascism t-shirt -- for absolutely free. All that and a bunch of chatter about the Jewish people, on this week’s episode of Everything Evolves!

On this episode of Music of the Mat, Andrew is joined by Duncan Joyce (Then, Now, Whatever) to discuss a selection of themes that helped make UK promotion Progress Wrestling the phenomenon that it is today. They play themes for Jimmy Havoc, Marty Scurll, Ringkampf, and plenty more!

Join Sarah and Sarah as they discuss all of the wrestling they watched since episode 4! Also the debut of the reverse call in segment "Call some guys"
