Voices of Wrestling Podcast Network

The Voices of Wrestling flagship podcast returns as Joe and Rich talk a number of topics across the world of the wrestling.

We begin with a breakdown of Dragon Gate's 10/12 show including the 5 vs. 4 Captain's Fall Elimination Unit Disband match and how Dragon Gate connects with you on a different emotional level than any other wrestling promotion. We follow that with a discussion of WWE Hell in a Cell including the rumor Charlotte/Sasha Banks main event, if their match should be a Hell in a Cell, if it should main event and what we can expect from the match.

After that is a lengthy discussion of the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame, who we voted for, why we didn't vote for other candidates and who else could find their way into the Hall of Fame this year.

Last but not least, listener questions where we touch on a ton of subjects including Wrestler of the Year votes, Omega vs. Okada at WrestleKingdom, Pentagon Jr.'s long-term viability, BOLA and much more.

Arn and Robin are joined by "Queen of German Graps Scoopz" Sarah for an in-depth rundown of wXw's recent World Tag Team League and JML's (now proven to be brief) title reign.

The New Japan Purocast returns with our long awaited review of NJPW’s “King of Pro-Wrestling”, which took place on Monday, 10/10 at Ryougoku Sumo Hall in front of 9,671 fans! We also give our thoughts on the Matt Sydal situation and offer some different opinions. Plus, we preview the Jr. Tag League, Power Struggle, and much more!

We're back with a brand new edition of Open the Voice Gate!

John and Jules are joined by our special guest co-host Michael Spears of the DG podcast Inside the Gate. Together the three discuss the 10/12 Korakuen show, a very newsworthy event featuring the end of a unit, multiple turns, and more.

We also discuss baseball, the Cleveland Indians' racist logo, Marine Le Pen, John's haunted new computer strikes again, and (yes) the fucking US election. Where else can you find that variety of topics? Well, obviously nowhere. But seriously we somehow do 2 straight hours on this Korakuen hall show, the fallout, Naruki Doi's previous babyface runs, and your Twitter questions, so enjoy!

The VOW Flagship talks Hideo Itami's injury, whether he's wasting his career and the idea of having stars doing Florida tours. We then turn our attention to Kazuchika Okada, his year, drawing record, underrated Wrestle of the Year resume and much more. Sticking with New Japan, we review NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling 2016, discuss the partial NJPW Power Struggle card with Jay Lethal vs. Tetsuya Naito in the main event.

Last but not least, we talk Pro Wrestling NOAH news, predictions on the attendance for their Great Voyage in Yokohama 2016 show and review WWE No Mercy 2016.

So. Much. Stuff. Goldberg is returning, while Paige is not (for at least 59 more days). Tino is here! But so is James Ellsworth. We bounce around WWE for a fun hour of Shake Them Ropes!

Arn and Oli run down the massive PROGRESS Brixton supershow, including three title changes, Jimmy Havoc's return and some exclusive gossip from Arn's live experience at the after-party. Other topics include What Culture Pro Wrestling's disaster of an iPPV, the potential Will Ospreay documentary and the upcoming NJPW/RPW Global Wars pair of shows.

TNA is top of the mind on tonight's VOW Flagship as we talk the rumored TNA sale, what the TNA tape library could mean for WWE Network and much more. We then talk TNA's Bound for Glory 2016 pay-per-view, what we thought of the results, Lashley retaining the TNA Champion (...for now) and Aron Rex's lackluster performance.

Next up is Ring of Honor as we breakdown the ROH All-Star Extravaganza PPV, what we thought of the crazy Ladder War main event and Christopher Daniels' all-time great performance. Last but not least, we preview WWE No Mercy 2016, NJPW's King of Pro-Wrestling, Alberto Del Rio's alleged stabbing and much more.

Two months have passed since our last episode, which is long even for us, but we're back with the latest edition of Open the Voice Gate! All four regular hosts are here to discuss, among other topics: a brief recap of the very mixed bag that was this year's Summer Adventure Tag League, much longer recaps of the Dangerous Gate PPV and the 9/29 Korakuen show, a look ahead at Tozawa's departure, T-Hawk and El Lindaman's heel turns (and subsequent fashion changes), three out of four of us are anime trash, the other one likes dirtbikes, mailbag questions, and more!

Sadly as the name should tell you we say goodbye to one of our hosts in this episode, as it's Dylan's last episode. We know you'll agree that he will be missed!
