Vox Scream

3rd edition is right around the corner, and this week the guys react to the recent reveals. Baseless speculation? We've got it in droves. Fun reminders of what we saw on Saturday? We've got that too. It's the talk of the town and we've all got something to say.

George recaps his 1st place finish at the Victory Comics Kill Team Tournament. How did his Brood Brother cleave a path to the podium?

In our last episode Mark French joined us to talk about stats and the local meta... but all is not as it seems! We recorded for about 20 minutes prior to multiple levels of technical difficulties, which led us to recording the episode you heard in a local podcast studio. BUT THE LOST SESSIONS HAVE BEEN RECOVERED FROM THE FLOWS OF THE WARP!

Please enjoy the recovered audio from our initial recording, lightly edited to cut some of the redundancies from the full episode. And stay tuned for our next episode, where we geek out about the 3rd edition reveal!

Today we welcome our first guest! Mark French runs our local Kill Team league at Atomic Empire, and he's compiled extensive stats from over 2.5 years of league games. We break down some stats as a way to look at the local meta, but also get under the hood of some stats for larger trends (including what may be the first ever statistical analysis of elites vs hordes vs elves vs midrange teams).

We also have another week of league games to recap:

This week we recap George's experiences at the Goonhammer Open, discuss ways to lighten cognitive load, and talk about Blades of Khaine. Do they really need a buff?

Also, it's our very first episode! We chat a bit about how we got into the hobby, Kill Team in the Triangle, and what teams we're planning to grind out before the upcoming NOVA Open.
