Brayden Hogan is someone who has turned knowledge into wisdom. He accomplishes this by continually learning, practicing, and reflecting on his experiences. Everyday he does the work on himself both mentally, physically, and spiritually. He understands that growth is about making mistakes, facing fears, and telling himself the truth. And through this process he has been able to share his wisdom with others and help them on their own journey. 

In this episode Brayden is vulnerable in sharing his journey from growing up in a small country town to realising that there is more to life then what is sold to us. He is open in sharing his struggles in both his professional and personal life and explains what he has learnt along the way.

There are many tangents and rabbit holes we explore while traversing topics such as dreams, fears, self-limiting beliefs, god, social media, daily practices, the theory of change, relationships, and everything else the universe has to offer.

Fear and vulnerability is different for everyone. Holly is a yoga and meditation teacher who has taught hundreds of people through her classes and retreats. She has brought her dreams to life and inspires people with her fun, kind, and positive nature. 

It can seem so simple for some people to follow their dreams and create what they want in life. However, we often do not see the struggle that people have to overcome along the way. Everyone has fears, insecurities, and traumatic experiences that can make following our dreams seem impossible. 

Holly is courageous in sharing her story that has required her to overcome so much to get where she is today. And although she has accomplished so much, a fear for Holly was to share her story on a podcast. 

Holly provides the perfect example for those who are struggling to overcome their fears and anxiety. She shares what works for her and discusses things that she must still overcome daily. 

Holly is someone who genuinely cares and wants to help all people in her life. We appreciate Holly so much for her courage and vulnerability.

It is how they control us. Keeping us in line. Forecfully dimming our light. 

A series of beliefs ingrained in us from a very young age that we had absolutely no choice over. Through domestication they taught us how to behave. 

A reward/punishment system that has been so well mastered we carry it with us our entire life. We carry it with us in our mind and use the system on ourselves, punishing ourselves 1000x harsher than any judge would. 

It has made us very sick as society, forever increasing the gap from who we are vs who we want to be. 

It is time to question those beliefs. WHERE DID THEY EVEN COME FROM?

They don't allign with the magnificently beautiful creature that i am.

There cannot be light without darkness. Polarity is defined as "the state of having two opposite or contradictory tendencies, opinions, or aspects". As beautiful as life can be, every light creates a shadow. There are many polarities within us; good and evil, love and hate, greed and compassion, fear and courage.... You cannot have one without the other. 

In this episode, Adam and Jarrod venture to the dark corners of their minds to sit with what lies in the shadow. Because without going within, we cannot see what lies in the darkness. We are not aware of out triggers, fears, and self-limiting beliefs. Bringing them into the light does not make them disappear, however, it limits the power that they are having on us each day. It allows us to regulate our emotions and not be stuck in past experiences when triggered. We can see that we are not a victim, and that we can view the external world through a lens of love and compassion instead of fear and hate.

It takes courage to be vulnerable.
It takes courage to speak up and let people know when you are struggling.

Sean Karambasis exemplifies courage. He is vulnerable in sharing his journey and his struggles that he overcome along the way. 

Sean discussed the belief that is ingrained in the minds of so many young men. That showing and talking about emotions is weakness. 

Sean chose to speak up, and in doing so allowed others around him to feel comfortable to reach out and seek support when they too struggle. He showed that it actually takes courage and strength to open up and talk about emotions.

Sean is someone who truly listens and is always there for his mates. He is passionate about mental health and is dedicated to helping others in his work and personal life. 

The unknown is a scary place so we thank Sean for being the first person to venture into the uncharted territory of this podcast. 

This conversation was truly special and the reason why we started this podcast.
