Over the weekend, Trump held a fundraiser, and he claims he raised $50 million (which just happens to be twice what Joe Biden raised at his fundraiser last week). And true to form, our media covered the claims as if they were true, or as if they could be true, as they typically do when Trump is obviously lying. Even the left-leaning outlets just couldn’t resist platforming the lie, as they always do, ignoring far more important stories in the process. On today’s episode, we speak to Jared Cassity of SMART – the union of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail & Transportation workers about a new rule that will increase the crew size on most trains, and we also talk to Trisha Calvarese, the Democratic Nominee in Colorado’s 4th congressional district, who will be taking on Lauren Boebert in November.
