This 80s Sci-Fi film was supposed to be a cute, retro comedy. Messy and problematic? Sure. But 3 laughs in the entire film? Did not see that coming. This week we discuss the pièce de résistance of 90's cinema, She's All That. The cornerstone of the teen movie genre. Freddie Prinze Junior in a role he was born to play, stars as a high school heartthrob who has recently been 'dissed and dismissed,' by the hottest girl in school/the worst human being on the planet (you know the drill).

He wagers with one of his equally hot, rich and popular best friends (who clearly hates him FYI), that in just 6 weeks he can turn any girl at their school into the prom queen. But don't worry you guys because Laney the girl who was selected was hot all along! She just needed contact lenses, a hair cut, and the right designer clothes.

On paper, this is the worst film ever made, but we honestly love it so much. With every teen movie trope, staple cast member, Lil Kim and Usher for goodness sake, and not to mention what seems like an absurdly large budget, it's easy to see why. Good luck finding it online though.

This week we discuss the relentless drama that is Malcolm & Marie, starring John David Washington and Zendaya. And boy, do we go on about everything under the sun outside what we are actually supposed to be discussing. Classic. And for so, so long...
