Have you ever felt like two opposing ideas are both true?
I feel like this is a total ADHD vibe.
This episode talks about how on one hand we are asked to believe that in order to “prosper in the Land” we have to work SUPER hard and on the other hand there is the thought that we can believe that success doesn’t have to be hard and can be joyful and even easy?
I’d like to suggest that WORKING HARD can also be EASY when we are focused and aligned with what we most desire.

Have you ever been so proud and confident telling one person about your success then so SURPRISED that telling another person you actually start to feel ashamed and small?
Many times this shame stems from feeling less than or not as good as others. Comparison truly robs us of so much. With ADHD it is very common for us to be in constant comparison and feeling different because our brains ARE DIFFERENT.
You are not alone in this struggle, but understanding WHY you feel so down is a big part to knowing how to shift that energy.
Does it feel like you're always in a hurry, always feeling like you're going to miss out and creating urgency in your life even when things aren't ACTUALLY on fire.
Welcome to living life with an ADHD brain!
Here's a little about what that process looks like for me and how I slow down, how might you?

Do you struggle with feeling like there are always a million little tasks to complete? It doesn't take long to start to feel a great deal of overwhelm and anxiety due to the lack of tying up loose ends. In this episode let's explore what may be an intentional action you can start to implement as a part of your normal life to help "close the loop" when it comes to tasks and events leading to greater peace, control and mental capacity. Enjoy Episode 19- "Close the Loop: Are you around for the closing credits?"

What is hoarding?
People with hoarding disorder excessively save items that others may view as worthless. They have persistent difficulty getting rid of or parting with possessions, leading to clutter that disrupts their ability to use their living or work spaces.
Hoarding is not the same as collecting. Collectors look for specific items, such as model cars or stamps, and may organize or display them. People with hoarding disorder often save random items and store them haphazardly. In most cases, they save items that they feel they may need in the future, are valuable or have sentimental value. Some may also feel safer surrounded by the things they save.

Professional organizers will work with you to decide what you want to keep, and to identify where unwanted items will go. They will, in many cases, facilitate the disposal, donation or sale of belongings a client wants to part with.

I have so many great ideas but no idea where to start
I cant let go of this idea bc I may forget about it.
“This idea is incorporated in the KonMari Method as expressing gratitude to your belongings for taking care of you,” she said. “If you are letting go of an item, giving thanks is also a way of properly saying goodbye, so that you can mark the end of your relationship with the item and release it without guilt.”

So many of us want everything fixed in one go overnight. We think if we were just given the perfect schedule, parenting tip, or sales technique we'd be all set.
I've learned this is a lie our brain tells us. We often have everything we need already upstairs in our amazing creative brain. While it is great to continue learning and seeking council it is just as important to take the time to slow down and determine how we want to spend our time and if it aligns with who we are working on becoming.
It is my experience that getting deep on a few vital items is so much more powerful than being shallow on one-hundred of them.

"Everything changes for the better when you take ownership of your own problems."
