Some of the biggest complaints I see come from the fact that people are denying that there is change necessary to make to save their relationship. If you find yourself denying what your partner is requesting, you should start questioning whether you are even interested or believing that you can change.

A lot of people believe that change is something that governments or larger groups of people do that affects all of society. However, in today's episode I want to bring it back to you as an individual. Any individual can be the rock in still water that creates a ripple of change. Think about relationships and what kind of world you like to build to have healthier relationships. Think about making a society that naturally teaches and encourages happy partnerships. What would that look like?

Today's episode is just another gender difference that I would like us to highlight in the hopes of respecting it and finding ways to support the health and happiness of both of you. Gender differences are not something to be disparaging against, but to lift us up into a better team with each individual having a specific role.

Do you ever feel like you or your partner can make decisions that don't actually make either of you happy. Today is an episode more for the women and the struggle I see them predominantly do in being overly generous and coming out resentful from it. Let me describe what I mean further in this episode, and see if you can relate.

I enjoy reading books. This could be anything from just pure fiction all the way to textbooks. And I since about a year ago have been trying to find books that are well suited to give to client. I felt inspired to do this episode because this book by Brené Brown "Dare to Lead" is an amazing first step to therapy or work to be done within a couple. We are all leaders in our life as well as our relationship and if we could learn to be more of a daring leader, it would help us all be in a better situation.
