  • Be a High Value Woman - S04E44

We all want to be valued. Women especially want to be desired and respected. Having both of these seems to be given to only some women. But is that really true? In today's episode I want to make an argument that being a High Value Woman is actually simpler (maybe more difficult) then we all are making it seem.

  • He Does Not Need So Much From You - S04E43

In today's episode, I want to talk about specifically the amount of energy women need to make men happy. To be honest this is typically a lot less than what you may think. Let's dive a little bit deeper into what I mean and discuss different ways you can change your outlook and have a happier more successful relationship because of this shift. Sometimes less actually is more!

  • BOOK REVIEW: It Didn't Start With You, Mark Wolynn - S04E42

For today's book review, we got a book on more developmental, historical, family patterns. The book goes into ways that history, genetics and extended family history really can be at the core piece to the psychological welfare of people living now. I really enjoyed this book because I like exploring 'reparenting' as a skill to be used in couples as well as individual therapy because all of us have scars, but some of these scars don't start with us. This book talks to a lot of that concept and is well worth a read if you are interested in discovering where your scars come from. Especially if you don't feel they started with you.

  • First World Problems! - S04E40

I think a lot of us that are able to be able to listen to podcast like this one, have a ton of blessings in our lives. And as much as we should be grateful for our many blessings that doesn't take away from what feels bad to us. In today's episode, I want to address the mindset that can creep into therapy about "first world problems" and how this can invalidate the work needed to be done in therapy .

  • Book Review: The Male Brain - Louann Brizendine, MD - S04E38

Today we're doing another book review. We're not going to go over the main topics of this book as much as whether I found it valuable or not. I think it's important that everyone reads or at least is working on bettering themselves. Education is the best way to do just that. This book today is a great one for anyone who has a male in their life and they want to make more sense of what they think or feel and why.
