On this edition of the Walking 'Strong podcast, Billy Embody and Bill Armstrong celebrate a night with SMU Spirit and are joined by special guests Bryson DeChambeau, the legendary Pony Express, HPUMC senior minister Paul Rasmussen and SMU President R. Gerald Turner. Plus, director of SMU Spirit Carrie Teller has SMU Cheer and Pom perform at a special fundraising event and student coach Mia Cassidy introduces the podcast.
Andy and Carrie Teller shared at the event that they are excited to begin this fundraising journey with an initial gift of $500,000 and a $1,000,000 challenge gift. If $1 million is raised, the Tellers will personally match it with an additional $1 million. With every gift, the program will be a step closer to achieving financial success and creating a self-sustaining program for SMU Spirit (Cheer and Pom) now and for years to come.

You can also contact Brandon Starr, the Director of Development for University Programs, who represents fundraising efforts for SMU Cheer and Pom. His email is [email protected], and his phone number is 214-768-7726. He could personally assist you with an outright commitment or pledge.
