Our tour of the Imagineering Horizons pavilion at D23 continues! In Part 2 of this Imagine That mini-series, we explore the pavilion’s Walt Disney World displays and the new attractions and experiences coming to three of its theme parks.

At Magic Kingdom, we examine the Carousel of Progress display and look ahead to Villains Land and Piston Peak. We then head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to discuss Monstropolis before visiting the Tropical Americas section for a closer look at the animal carousel, Encanto and Indiana Jones experiences coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Our journey concludes in the pavilion’s final room, where Imagineering showcased some of the latest technology being developed for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Could this technology eventually appear in the parks—and what might it mean for the future of immersive storytelling? Join us as we revisit the displays, share our firsthand impressions and discuss where Disney Imagineering may be heading next.

Step inside the Imagineering Horizons pavilion at D23 with us! In Part 1 of this two-part Imagine That mini-series, we share our firsthand experience exploring the pavilion’s first half and take a closer look at the photos, models and displays revealing what Disney Imagineering has planned around the world.

We begin at the Horizons Main Stage before traveling through upcoming developments at Tokyo Disneyland, including the reimagined Space Mountain and a new Wreck-It Ralph attraction. We also explore Disneyland Paris’ new Lion King experience, Disney Cruise Line’s The Believe and the Avengers attractions coming to Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disney Resort.

Finally, we return stateside for a look at the future of Disney California Adventure, including the expansion of Avengers Campus and the upcoming Avatar and Coco attractions. Join us as we revisit the pavilion and discuss which projects have us most excited for the future of Disney parks!
