Nancy Landrum is an insightful individual who has explored the dynamics of unhealthy relationships, notably through the lens of codependency. She identifies codependency as a pattern of interlocking beliefs that create imbalanced dynamics, where one person assumes excessive responsibility for another's happiness and well-being. This can result in what she terms a "Velcro relationship," where both parties become stuck together due to their intertwined but unhealthy beliefs.
