Stu talks openly and honestly with me about his life long battle with Mental Health ,ADHD, Intrusive and Suicidal thoughts, using alcohol as a coping mechanism which led to a short stint in prison.
Stu found The Noisy Brain as part of helping others with Emotional and Mental Issues that use writing as a form of therapy to turn written words into lyrics and work with some musicians to help use this creative platform to support our peers through this battle with Mental Health.
The goal is to Create a huge Community and colab with others to provide support for Emotional and Mental Issues.
Hope you enjoy this Episode AND GO CHECK OUT THE APP @THENOISYBRAIN.
Myrto Raftopoulo, Neuroscientist (phD), double-certified coach (Health and Medical),Mental Health Counsellor and Chronic Illness Specialist.
I created the Neuroplastic Healing Method to help people living with chronic illnesses accelerate their journey towards health and wellbeing.
After having experienced my brothers and both my parents journeys with chronic illness, I made it my lifes mission to eliminate the term ''chronic illness''
by making chronic illnesses temporary. this is not a cure. but if you could imagine a life without flare ups, wouldn't that be close to one?
My proprietary process, developed after years of testing, is based on cutting-edge scientific research and my personal experience working one to one with clients.
I believe that illness is a manifestation of an imbalance between our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energies. My evidence based process based on our innate healing power and the concepts of neurogenesis ( the brains ability to regenerate)and neuroplasticity( the brains ability to form new neural connections), helps you restore balance to keep your illness in permanent remission.
