An amazing weekend of college football is in the books, one that the Iowa Hawkeyes did not participate in. The boys recap their picks from last episode after hearing about Kevin's weekend away at a Fall wedding. They discuss the big game of the weekend where Alabama fell to Tennessee on a last second field goal that was actually a total shank. We sat down to record this episode just 30 mins after the news that Wisconsin Head Football coach Paul Chryst was being relieved of his duties. So we start the episode with a brief discussion on that news. The Hawkeyes took care of business in Piscataway on Saturday earning their way to Victory 27-10. While the Defense posted their 4th straight solid performance, highlighted by 2 trips to the endzone off of turnovers, it was the Offense who may have injected some more hope into Hawkeye faithful. We go back through our Wards Winners from week 4, and discuss the lopsided Minnesota vs Michigan St game. We recap the win, our initial thoughts on what we saw improve from the Hawks and what still needs work, and discuss Iowa's outlook in the Big Ten West.
