Yet, we also carry a weight of our responsibility for the gifts we have been given by God in how we choose to use those divine blessings for the betterment of all. We also are not to be entangled with the world and should stay focused on the work until the coming of Jesus. Are we focused? Are we waiting? Are we ready for anything? Are we committed? Are we willing to be involved? I hope so!

Judges 11. God seems to enjoy doing the unexpected thing through unexpected people. Sometimes He uses the underdog, the unknown, the underachiever, the disappointment. The person who, in times past, has not done what they said nor accomplished what they should have. They have not met the expectation before and there is no reason to believe they will do so in the moment. But out of nowhere, God unexpectedly brings the victory through the unexpected hero of the moment.

Could it be that God has a moment of destiny for you? Could it be that God has plans to do something through you as He brings victory in a given situation you know nothing about? And all He expects from you is to give your all to Him. Regardless of your past – even if you see yourself as broken – God delights in using the unexpected person to do the unexpected thing.
